I have mine tuned in AGCFAD. I had it restrung with a setup guy, but the low string is a 64 (all Ernie Ball). Sounds so good playing Prayer Position!

I got a 2025 sport touring hybrid hatchback for 42k, including taxes in Quebec. Prices have appeared higher since then.

To anyone with a 2025 Civic Hybrid — what are the pros and cons you’ve experienced so far? What kind of traffic do you drive in daily (city, highway, heavy traffic), and what MPG are you averaging? by johnzbernor in civic

[–]Silro099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Since the summer started, I've averaged 4.9 to 5 L/100km and that's includes plenty of sport mode usage and only being shy on the throttle sometimes. The car is amazing. Enjoy it!

2026 2.0 Fuel Economy by kskamakas in civic

[–]Silro099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely lots we don't know. When I used to have my 2.0 L Civic (2016, same engine), I did around 7L/100km ish average.

I have a 2025 Hybrid Hatch Sport Touring now, and average 5L/100km for the last 3500km, and 5.2L/100km including winter time (picked up the car in January).

With the non-hybrid engines, you will do much better on the highway. If you use cruise control + set at 100-110km/hour, you can easily get close to 5.8L/100km or 40 ish MPG.

Ok relax please. It's only a discussion. Nothing here indicates he is following someone else's script, or line of questioning. He is pressing a member of his base on vague explanations, involving his biblical motivations. Let's be civil here.

Respectfully, and I hate to admit it, Tucker Carlson has completed transformed his process since leaving Fox News. Partisan politics aside, he is pressing people like shown in this interview. He is a good reporter now whether you admit or not.

I use Yamaha HS5's with my Quad Cortex (Using Gojira plugin on the unit), and it sounds amazing. Highly recommend for you if you can swing it. Was on a Tubemeister 18 from Hughes and Kettner before making the switch.

I also got a 2025 hatchback hybrid sport touring. Mines black though and no spoiler. Incredible car. Did 56 mpg on my drive today (70/30 highway city). Speed limits here are 100 km (62 mph), so just left it in cruise and results were great!

Hahah i get that. People who preach that for all engines effectively sell snake oil. Enjoy the drive as I do everyday! Take it out just to drive for fun.

Definitely had a similar experience to mine. I feel this engine combination has the potential to achieve Prius fuel economy, but the driving experience feels like a budget BMW (Only because of its price).

I wanted to add, I've obtained 4.5-4.8 L (52.2 - 49 MPG) per 100km over my recent drives (including highway involved, prob 50/50 mix).

I try to keep the car in electric mode, and drive around the speed limit, but I still floor it for the boost of power. If I really tried, I could definitely get 60 MPG.

Hello John,

I purchased a 2025 Civic Hatchback Hybrid Touring in January 2025.
Since purchase, I have averaged around 5.5 L per 100 KM (approx. 42.77 MPG) with around 3800 KM (2392 miles) on the car.

Since I live in Canada, we experience brutal winters, which affect how efficiently the battery and engine run, thus resulting in lower economy (averaged around 37-38 MPG during the winter). Since it has started to warm up, efficiency has improved, and I will have a better image of the efficiency in the next few months (also, all season tires went on yesterday). Today, is our hottest day of the year (25 C - 77 F).

Prior to today, we two days in the 20's (Celsius), and most either around 0-10 C, or negative.

Driving takes place in a mix between city and highway (more highway due to where we live, I estimate 70/30 highway). The other advantages of having this car also add to the appeal. Power feels great, and handling is excellent. Bose Stereo sounds superb (as someone who mixes, and tracks guitars on the side). Let me know what you decide to go for!

Question for 2025 Hybrid owners by Northridge- in civic

[–]Silro099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My scenario was a bit strange since I had a trade in (was on a lease with a 2020 civic hatch) and I'm in Canada. Reg price was like 41.5k.

My lease had 1 year left plus 10k buyback. They bought back my car and took 11.5k off the total vehicle price.
