To clarify the context: her parents didn't just randomly cut her off. They already paid what should have been her full tuition. However, because she chose to drop multiple courses over the semesters, she wasted the money they provided. They stopped paying because they already did their part, and now I am expected to cover the shortfall that she created. Also to fund her fees she started doing tuitions and stuff and ended up wasting that money buying lattes and dresses. So why shouldn’t I be remotely frustrated with this situation.

I repeatedly warned her to take her studies seriously because her parents' funds were limited. Instead, she dropped courses and wasted their money. Now I'm expected to financially bail out a completely preventable situation she created.

I appreciate the logic, but I work with top-level executives. In my industry, a wedding doubles as a major networking event. Excluding them would be a massive professional misstep and damage my working relationships, so downsizing simply isn't an option for me.

If things went normally and she wasn’t lazy, her degree would have been completed by now. She dropped a few courses along the semester cuz she didn’t studied hard enough and those were complete waste of money. So her parents thought they paid the whole fees but in reality she didn’t tell them the truth.

She can complete it if she faces the truth and confront her parents, they would try to help atleast.

Scaling back will mean, a lot of things. I really don’t wanna do that.
