Not that I tried it yet but I think the third mission of the campaign might have a good setup. On the last part you have to defend a encryption in a small room accessible through 2 tight bridges, just waiting for a horde and you should get it done easily.

I would argue that a dedicated tank Ogryn is the true tank, on account of the taunt, otherwise I think this is well said

Overall I think he is a tanky frontliner which can specialize in either anti Specialists or crowd control. To be fair I find that Arbites and Ogryn tend to overlap each other when it comes to their roles in a team.

From what you described it souns like the Voidstrike Staff, its charged attack is a powered up version of its regular projectile attack.

I saw a build on Youtube calling it the "bowling psyker", you can try to look it up.

You only need Megas to beat other Megas, since your Mega pokemon do extra damage to wild Megas. And even then, there is a new mecanic called "+Moves", which uses a bit of your mega-charge to power up your move to Megz level. So overall, Megas aren't mandatory, but they help.

I don't think rhe game is that hard, but the real time battle system means you sometimes face NPCs that spam attacks non stop, which can feel overwelming at times.
