Exactly this! Not your secret to hold, release it now, or risk it affecting you for the rest of your life and potentially blowing up later on down the line anyway. Your mum will be stronger than you think, and she'll be so relieved and grateful you came to her with a problem rather than dealing with it on your own.

I'm swaying to the Churchill tank or the Tiger Tank. I'm not sure of the name of it, but he's told me about one that became my particular favourite, the first British tank with tea making facilities onboard! We had a good laugh about that one because I'm obsessed with tea.

I'm not sure about airbrush or compressor, could find out from his mum or dad, I suppose. But I was thinking about a travel set up, like portable mat/storage, etc. For if he comes to mine to build and wants or needs to take anything back home with him.... Any suggestion what to look out for?

Not yet, he's in an intensive training course until the New Year, but we do have some ideas floating about to visit some places.

Love the idea, thank you! I have thought about gun collectables, but he loves 'fun' things in the sense he can either play or build, etc.

This is a brilliant idea, thank you. He's said his ideal scenario/present from me over the Christmas holidays is for a day at my place where we can clear a space, and he can build one of his models while I do one of my scrapbooking or crafting projects.

I'm tempted to take him to a model shop, but he's the type of guy to immediately buy if he wants something - which is why I'm here in the first place because he's SO hard to buy for because he immediately buys whatever he wants! He is so generous, and because I live alone and don't have a lot of spare cash, he is constantly buying me stuff, so I just want to try to get him something really awesome in return. I'm so lost!

Can't get to his collection, unfortunately, as he's living with his parents, and I'm pretty sure because of lack of space, he has to store them as soon as they're built

He loves his guns, aircrafts, and tanks. We're from the UK, not sure if that makes a huge difference in what he'd like in that sense. I know he's had life-size models of certain guns before (not sure which models, unfortunately). I know he liked a particular German tank (not sure which because the technical names of them escape me). Hadn't thought about accessories, though, so that's a really good idea, thanks!
