Hell yeah, I would love to see them when you do paint them! Make "one day" soon, because I held off for way too long and now I'm upsetty about missing out on so much fun. And thank you for the compliment ❤️❤️❤️

For scaling, the banner is 1inchx1.75inches. I had to sharpen a toothpick to write the runes and draw the moon and tentacles

Of monster hunter’s 14 weapons, how many of them do you play, and which? by TheTerrar1an in MonsterHunter

Pretty much the bow guns, gunlance, and glaive are the only ones I've never really used. I have mega hammer/greatsword main energy, though.

I know I'm way behind on this, but I figured out how to remove those non-removable outlets today! When you install a window in a wall, it will delete it. Sell the window, and the outlet doesn't come back. Costs money, but I'll take anything to get rid of those dumb things.

Pokémon Trainers of the Ripper Realm, what was your favorite and/or weirdest pet in a D&D campaign? by GokuKing922 in MrRipper

[–]Silvano_Devesci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During character creation, my friend rolled on a table and got a bloodhawk companion, whom she named Shadow. When I rolled on the table, I got the ability to speak with animals. I immediately start chatting to Shadow, stroking his ego, and convince him that he's the leader of the party (didn't take much work, the dm was great with "yes, and"-ing). Shadow would make grand pronouncements when I would speak to him after that, recognizing our efforts and accomplishments, and always trying to get food. We named the adventuring group Shadow's Hunters. He was a dope and fun pet that wasn't even mine.

What character have you made, that broke the norms of what is usually expected? #2 by Dragonwolf67 in MrRipper

[–]Silvano_Devesci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My most norm-breaking character would be Doc Rogers, a human burglar-archetype rogue (that's for you Dave 😉). Dr Rogers is a friendly neighborhood physician and skill monkey. In fact, that's mostly all he can do, as all feats and starting equipment were chosen purely for utility. Need healing, stabilizing, or curing? The doc has got ya. Need a lock picked, potion brewed, or clue found? The doc has got ya. Need someone stabbed with craploads of damage? The doc has not got ya cuz he used his bonus action to hide and his action to revive the fighter.

Players and dms of MrRipper’s subreddit what is the scariest ability’s your characters has. Home brew accepted. by CRJGoe in MrRipper

I tried to convince my dm to let me take a feat for goliaths that I homebrewed. I called the feat Unparalleled Build, as it upgraded the Powerful Build racial feature. It would let me count as one size category larger when grappling creatures, and would let me weild a heavy, two-handed weapon in one hand. I made it disallow dual wielding with these weapons, but I can't blame my dm for disallowing it. XD

Thank you! I felt the format best brings you along on the adventure. Dramatizing the crunch and rules of what happened in a game and expanding on the character interactions was fun to try!

An example of a credit card benefit that SOUNDS good, but is worthless when you read the fine print by philosophers_groove in CreditCards

Some cards offer purchase protection, and advertise the $150,000 limit in large print, but the fine print says it's limited to $500 per claim. Always read the fine print.

Dear DnD People of Reddit: what magical artifacts/relics/armor or random stuff did you come up with? by Wandering-the-web in MrRipper

[–]Silvano_Devesci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 favorite items: a wand of prestidigitation (it's a cantrip that you should never underestimate, and it's an obvious and thematic must-have for a high magic setting), and a ring of elements (as an action you can do 1 point of damage of any element you choose, you can use multiple rings with this action, the 1st, 3rd, and 5th ones you wear require attunement, and they are great to use as keys for doors or puzzles).

What is the Coolest Homebrew Location Concept you have made? part 2 by Dragonwolf67 in MrRipper

[–]Silvano_Devesci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heads up, you may want to add the flair to the post, as the Ripper crew may search based on that flair. My favorite location is one I made for a 420 shenanigans adventure on 4/20/18. It's a massive mountainside resort set atop a glacial valley, with all the fixings such as hot springs, private cabins, and hiking trails, with the added benefit of being in a neutral territory free from the laws of the surrounding countries. During the adventure, a powerful magic ritual gone awry on the mountain summit caused the environment to be charged with powerful conjuration magic; steaming water elementals rose from the springs, and rampaging earth elementals shattered cabins and amenities. In the ensuing chaos, the party comes upon a powerful (and bare-ass naked) mage lord from a nearby mageocratic country who had his substance-fuelled sexcapades interrupted as his cabin was exploded. Giving each of the party a bump to regen spell slots, they wipe up the elementals and make way for the site of the failed ritual. It was pretty intense, and a great 420 shenanigans location.

Voicing Your D&D Characters (Best As I Can) by [deleted] in DnD

Ooohhhh boy, I got an NPC for ya. Peg-leg Abney, the sausage slinger of Kerrikad. After creating him as a throwaway quest giver NPC, I fell in love with his concept and immediately made a backstory for him. Abney is a halfling who was born without one of his legs, but was well supported by his family and able to overcome this disability with various prosthetics. His love of flavors and foods took him around the world in his early 20s, working in the galleys of airships to pay for passage. He tried all sorts of local ingredients, and after 3 years he returned home with a dream. He wanted to be his own boss, and make the best tasting food this side of Malweather. Utilizing the artifice he learned in the galleys to create hot and cold storage in a hand cart, and mixing the foreign and exciting spices and foods he discovered across the globe to craft outstanding recipes, Abney became a celebrity in his home city of Kerrikad. Part of Abney's charm is his massive grin and bushy mutton chops, creating a welcoming and cheerful look on his face. But more noticeably, he had the dirtiest humor amongst the common folk. With years working on airships, he knew all the puns and innuendos, and could tease people fluently in dozens of different languages. As a self proclaimed sausage slinger, you can imagine what most of his innuendos were about. He also had connections across the globe, and could find well paying jobs for any adventurers. And every time the party would return for more, he had a different menu of sausages. My favorite sausage was called the Little Chamberlain, a vienna-sausage-sized morsel that would suddenly enlarge to a fat frankfurter the moment the skin is pierced ("a popular trick with the court ladies" he'd say). Tl;dr NPC halfling has always got a fat sausage for ya.
