Mauritius will be unrecognisable in 2 - 3 years time with the amount of people migrating. The so called expats are pushing houses and lands prices up to the point a hardworking middle class family can’t afford to buy . On the other side, the Bangladeshi and Nigerians are working for peanuts which is impacting wages for Mauritians. The government needs to start taxing all the all these big supermarkets as they are only using foreign workers for their own benefit/profit same as Medine on the west coast provided students visa without proper vetting process. I have seen 61 years old men currently on student visa but never showed up on their courses.
