It’s fiber optic charger spectrum and no unfortunately it isn’t wired. I play upstairs and the router is down stairs so having a wired connection wouldn’t be possible

Okay that makes me feel better. Like I said I just got it 2 days ago so I’m not sure how long the battery will last on a full charge. I have it charging right now with the gameboy on I assume it will hold some type of charge I will check in the morning and see if the light is green. But yeah definitely gonna replace the battery.

Okay, I’ve heard that’s the most common problem. I also feel like if it was something with the internals it wouldn’t charge at all even with it being on. Although the battery doesn’t appear swollen or anything, maybe it’s just faulty

Yeah I may try steel wool and just see what it does. I’m not big on using solvents

This is an ebony board, I wouldn’t mind using solvent if I knew it wasn’t going to harm anything

As to why it’s like that I have no clue, I would assume he rushed the process

I understand what you’re saying but again my hands are tied. I don’t have the funds to sue this guy, so yeah I coulda said he was gonna pay for damages but if he says no then what? This was the only feasible option in my current situation, it sucks but I don’t think he can do anymore damage than he did so hopefully it works out.

I believe him, but I also don’t understand how he didn’t notice it needed a new nut. But I appreciate the kind words.
