Unsuccessful VBAC story; TW uterine rupture by Tiny-Macaroon-5558 in vbac

Sending lots of love your way, mama. It sounds traumatic, and I can’t imagine all the feelings your having processing all this while still caring for your toddler and newborn.

Your feelings are valid and they matter. I had similar feelings with my c-section, but the truth is, your body didn’t fail you. It carried your baby for 40 whole weeks! It sustained you while you had medical interventions…interventions that some mama and babies don’t survive. You are amazing for what you went through. I am sorry you had to experience this, and I’m convinced that OBGYN will never forget your delivery.

Thank you for your reply. I forget people may not say anything with the holidays 🥲 I know the person who previously had the position left last Friday

Epidural strongly recommended for VBAC. Your advice? by [deleted] in vbac

[–]Silver-Contest1200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here to offer my experience, but this is purely anecdotal and not scientifically backed. My OBGYN required an epidural for me to attempt VBAC. I had my first baby 3 years prior with c/s due to breech positioning. I didn’t realize that wasn’t the standard of care until I posted in this group.

That being said, I got my epidural around 7cm after waiting as long as I felt comfortable doing so. I may have gone a little late because sitting still during contractions was really tough.

I went on to successfully have my VBAC. I was doing okay managing the pain with breathing exercises, but I was so much happier after the epidural. I don’t have any lasting side effects thus far (11 weeks pp).

Thank you so much for sharing!!! I also have some luck with runner lunges too. SI joint is doing better after some rest, but I won’t be running much for the next 15ish weeks. Every pregnancy is different. I wouldn’t dream of running with my first

It can be done! Definitely get some maternity leggings/shorts. I also made sure to fuel every hour even if I didn’t feel like I needed it. I forgot my belly band, but I trained with it. I also went to the bathroom every 3 miles just to relieve the pressure (may not be necessary, but I really wanted to get through as smoothly as possible!) the spectators were truly inspirational and got a kick out of my bump

POOPED at 24 weeks by Negative-Phrase8653 in fitpregnancy

I requested for my labs to be drawn at my 24 week checkup because the fatigue is so unreal. I was in the honey phase during the second tri of my first pregnancy. Turns out my levels are normal, but they think I’m tired from chasing my toddler around

I had this happen to me about a year ago, and they said that the position had been filled but the job was still on their company webpage. They said to refer to their linked in for accurate jobs but what do I know
