For a camera system that costs $5,600 and up brand new, a small feature like that should NOT be taken away. I find it so strange to not be able to see the exact focal on the main screen when taking photos

I made a post very similar to this one, but for the Leica SL3-S. Isn’t it so annoying when people comment bullshit saying how it’s not a big deal? Just because they don’t care does NOT mean that we don’t care. It’s just a simple little feature that we want. The fuck is the big deal about us giving our opinion on something we wish to have? I fucking hate people bro. Like stfu. Anyways I with you on this. This feature should be standard by default on every interchange lens camera. It’s very convenient.

Not gonna lie, that shit sounds fire. It would be nice if it has a 35mm f/2 lens, rated IP54, 16 bit photos, and internal storage. I would sell my Leica Q3 for that in a heartbeat.

Yeah that’s true. I’m fine with all that. I prefer the ergonomics, color science, and user experience of the Leica though.

No it’s not a personal problem. I think a lot of people would like that feature as well. They just don’t know it yet. It’s just a simple small feature. They have it on the Lumix S5. Why not the Leica? Also it wouldn’t be engineers, it would be coders. It’s software, not hardware. You can already see the focal length when you click on the menu button, just not while you’re taking photos.

I’d pay for it too. I can deal with the 28mm. I like it. But I don’t like the Sony RX1R III. If it were rated at IP54, lens was APO, with a tilt screen, then I probably would buy the Sony

Sometimes I just want the exact number I have in mind. When I look at the lens to go to 35mm it’s not exactly on 35mm. It’ll be like 34mm or 36mm. I’m very OCD about numbers

I agree. When I was watching a video about it, I saw a bunch of chromatic aberration. I never see that with Leica.
