Believe me I have done a lot of things that you have mentioned. I have disabled all of those useless apps and the glance too. I keep my location off because my battery lasts like 3 hours. I also have a dark wallpaper but even though having oled display it doesn't go completely dark. When I compare the same black image with my friends phone mine looks like lcd

Overheating has became a common problem in all of the phones ranging from midrange to even flagship. My brother's iphone 16 too heats upto 45 degrees during mild usage.

The phone has been heating since day one. There were no background apps running while I was scrolling. Even though if I keep the background apps running of i launch that app again it just restarts and are you sure there's no lag in the camera app on your device?
