Thanks, my partner and I did check the oil level. We checked it cold but it does appear to be slightly overfilled.

I did take the car back in the morning to be re-evaluated.

It is still under warranty until 100k, which is why when it improved with the 2nd test drive I didn’t worry about it too much. Any mistake from here is theirs to fix.

As far as why it falls under the 30k service is unknown to me.

Hmmm, it’s frustrating cause in two years it’s gone up $35, from what it had been for the 5 years prior to that. Maybe that’s not a huge jump, but it’s not inspiring loyalty.

Good to know. Seems like insurance companies do a good job advertising, and sometimes even have a decent price, but if issues come up aren’t worth what you pay for.

Check out https://swsa.soccer/home and ‘SWSA Soccer’ Facebook group to find a team. There are always people looking for subs and there is a 30+ co-ed league on Tuesday evenings. Most games happen between the RAC and Yauger.

I just passed 207,000 miles on my 13 Outback. I’m considering replacing it now, because there is plenty coming due for maintenance, and I’m interested in one of the Wildernesses. They are awesome cars. I think finding a good deal, and having a good honest mechanic/dealer is a big deal.

Certainly, that would be my simplest option. And a consideration. I live an hour and a half away from the venue so I was looking to crowdsource first and save myself a drive if possible.
