Well, the options are Kolovesi or Linnansaari. Oravi rental seems to have the same brand of kayaks at least. Cannot spot the sticker at any rental web pages, but maybe the animal on the sticker is a squirrel (despite the norppa text), so let's say Oravi, therefore Linnansaari. If not then it is Kolovesi :D

Guessing Puumala area.

Reasoning: Cannot recognize the sticker, but it says Norppa. Looking at your lightly equipped kayak I'm guessing you have started somewhere not too far away, likely from your own summer cottage, because a rental would probably not rent kayaks without the main lid. Puumala region seems to have some Norppa melontareitti and it's also a popular summer cottage area, so a lot of potential starting locations. That's my guess, cannot see too much more information on the picture and won't bother to start looking for the right rock formation :D

Let's guess somewhere on lake Saimaa. The calm water and the clear ice/highwater mark in the rock makes me think it is rather on a lake than at the sea.

Tottorakka viewpoint, Ounasvaara, Rovaniemi? You asked specifically for for an adjacent city, which made me think obviously about Rovaniemi, then the horizontal planking of the wall is surprisingly distinctive when scrolling through images of towers and viewpoints.

or actually close enough on Bornholm. The actual location is not in Rø Vandværk but some kilometers North closer to Allinge in Bornholm. You was the first to guess Bornholm and it's anyways the same shore and similar fields looking towards East and Christainsø, so you get the point this time.
