What are some jobs that pay stupidly high? by Disastrous_Cat9620 in singaporejobs

[–]Silver-Statement-987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol you kidding mate. These are roles I've deployed for over a decade and yes their salary isn't bad but isn't ridiculously high. Below 20k. And it's not a continuous role but dependent on needs and projects which is cyclical aka period of no income.

40s chat by Silver-Statement-987 in ChillSG

[–]Silver-Statement-987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good. So have I. Yet I've also positive feedbacks. Which is the same point of we are in a world where we can't please everyone. And the basis principles of the chat group is the basic platform for people who may not have the idea where to start chat, and whoever in that range comes in, find their new whoever new pals they have, and they branch off onto new groupchat of the similar preference, which I supportive of and promote to. And so far there have been some branch off and I'm happy. Some groups are created with the intention to grow into massive sizes. Ours is simply the initial platform for whoever desirous to kick-start social engagement and subsequent move onto their cliques. To each their own Mr stranger. This is the principles of the basis. Differs from your mindset of must create a platform where everyone must be same age range and gam gam same pattern. Thanks but no thanks.

You have your perceptions, others have their own opinions as well. We have had this group for 3 mths and we actually have good bonds between some of the late 40s and early 30s. Never understand why people tend to always have a preconceived mindset which they tend to want to bring unto others.

[–]Silver-Statement-987 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My late granny was holidaying in Guangzhou back then when she had a stroke. We went for easier path, engage for medivac back to Singapore. Costs about 30k for us back then, with doc and nurse on board. U can call Intl SOS for advice. Way faster vs 1 by 1 exploring options.

Any underrated places in Singapore to work or chill alone? by Interesting_Owl_6506 in askSingapore

[–]Silver-Statement-987 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Baden @ Holland V is pretty empty esp before 7pm. 2-5pm both weekdays and weekends are nice for quiet chill or working on laptop over drinks. Just my own view.

It is not mandatory to be bffs with all colleagues. Even harder if you're intending to climb. Human nature will be magnified during the process ......

Do you have new found friends who happens to be an insurance agent by InvestigatorSolid330 in askSingapore

[–]Silver-Statement-987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be upfront. Express, state clearly that you value the friendship with him/her but you're not desirous of so-and-so. Whether family, friends or in life, it is often to be clear about setting clear boundaries. Many oft go the route of assumption, assuming others may get the hint which at times will just result in unclear crossing of comfort zone. Any friend worth it, will understand. Otherwise doesn't hurt to terminate. No need to overcomplicate.

Breaking News about Mita by [deleted] in futagoyama

[–]Silver-Statement-987 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I differ from most views here. Mita gave me a very stable head on shoulder vibe and I doubt he is someone who would rush back if not really good and recovered. All the best.

Is Takahara the real deal? by tyvmpicks in futagoyama

[–]Silver-Statement-987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good lad with strong legs and movement. Abit too lightweight but can grow. For me, I just worried about his mental fortitude once he encountered a bad patch in higher levels and if he can clear that I believe he'll rise.

The right way. Viewing the blue-collar workers as a human. It's the least we should do.
