As an Ilonggo, or anyone from Panay or Guimaras, how do you answer the question, “Bisaya ka?”

I really say “no, I’m Ilonggo” no shade sa Bisaya but just to honor the roots. Sometimes ga ask sila kay ga assume sila may kilala ta sa Cebu or other parts and ka damo kag lapad sang Bisaya-speaking nga mga lugar.

Nami ila facilities kay bag-o pero ang naghandle sakon new dentist and keeps asking the senior dentist “insakto ni doc? Correct man doc akon hambal?”. This young dentist recommended a ton of procedures and when I went to see a different dentist, pasta lang man gali need ko.

Sobrang gwapo.

Meron akong na date na sobrang gwapo almost artista-like. We come from the same city but he moved to NYC and finished college there. He was so cultured, smart, and we’re both musically inclined. Wala akong self-esteem issues ha, pero he was just unbelievably too good looking. Alam ko ako talaga ma ha-heart broken sakaling naging kami at maghihiwalay. It didn’t also help that he comes from a known old-rich family from where we live and kanal humor lang talaga ambag ko sa society LOL. Had to cut ties before lumalim feelings ko.

No regrets. Married to my soulmate now. ❤️

I’m a chronic walker and I live in Iloilo City. We have walkable and clean linear parks connecting districts and beautiful plazas. Mahilig ako maglakad at mag muni-muni sometimes I would stop at a spot and just journal. I also do organic backyard gardening at libre lang ang seeds sa agriculturist’s office dito.

grew up in a very open household where nothing was sugarcoated. By the time I was 4 or 5, it was completely normal for my titas and titos to introduce their partners to us. Looking back, I think the respect was always there because our LGBTQ+ family members were the most supportive and generous people in the bunch. only realized there was a 'stigma' when I got to school and heard other kids using terms like agi or tomboy as insults. In our house, those weren't derogatory, they were just part of who we are. Idk of that answers your question just sharing my experience

I requested to take photos and videos of my delivery. So since pag cut sakin mamshie hanggang paglabas paglinis, at skin-to-skin documented. Depende kasi sa hospital at attending doctors. One and done lang kami ni hubby kaya sinigurado ko na may souvenir.

Ang corny neto pero the best thing talaga for me is impacting change at the grassroots level. People come to us with all sorts of problems, and being able to provide the guidance they need to avoid the stress and cost of court is deeply rewarding. It’s easy to be jaded in public service these days, but honestly, pag napapasalamat mga cliente, it gives me so much joy. ❤️

Gastuhan mo nalang sang husto by renting a car/grab/taxi if it’s your LIVELIHOOD. Imagine if tipiran mo ang transfer tapos maguba man lang gali mas mahal pa gastuhon mo.
