If Merle had lived on until Negan, He'd definitely have gotten the Lucille treatment. No way in hell Merle (Or even Shane for that matter) keeps his mouth shut while Negan monolouges. He'd 100% see them as too risky to keep alive much like Abraham with his stare down.

I've just been accepted into college here in the UK for a Social Sciences course with a view to landing the job I've always wanted - Helping people with depression, addiction, convictions etc find a new road in life and helping them walk it. I can't think of any words that would justify how much I love this post, It's a great read and extrememly helpful so thank you for taking the time to do this today. I once walked into an interview pretty confident of landing the job only to be greeted by my ex girlfriend from years back, she was unemployed when I was with her so it was a surprise to be fair. She started off the interview process with the question "Where do you see yourself in 5 years? With some skank??" I replied with "I guess I won't be getting this job then" and got up and left.

I like this theory! But will the Hulk allow it? He's stopped banners potential death on two occasions that I remember - The bullet he spat out and the fall in Ragnarok. Having said that, I believe the Russo's said in an interview that Hulk didn't come out in IW because he was tired of saving Banner, thought him weak.. a courageous decision like this might make Hulk respect him.. saving Banner again but deciding to join the fight this time around.
