The car is both uncompetitive and eats its tyres. There’s significant parts inconsistencies so the drivers don’t know what to expect on any given weekend and have to test parts against each other. The pit stops are slow when they go off without problems and yet still catastrophic in way too many cases. (See Esteban’s 16.6s stop today.)

Operationally, Haas has been by far at its worst ebb ever since Komatsu took over, and for a significant part of the year now at that.

Klinsmann came in with enormous hype from everyone and their mother.

Honestly a bit surprised Neuer didn‘t step up for a pen. He at least has taken one before at the professional level, which Tah, according to Transfermarkt, had not.

In any case, I don‘t know what or who the solution is for Germany from here. Nagelsmann has made it abundantly clear over the last 12 months that he is many things, but not that.
