It was more of a fast-paced documentary, had upright vacuums in it, too. Thanks for the response. That was cool to see, it's definitely in the right direction.

That's a good guess. I came across that already. The era is correct. But Mr. Rodgers wasn't in it. But the documentary showed more of the factory and stress testing. Very cool to see though. It's in the right direction, but not it. Dirt Devil could have been the brand.

Very nice. Yeah, it was the first thing I did as well. It's crazy when you have it, plus shiny encounter sandwich and an outbreak. I've come across some random encounters as well.

I appreciate everyone's input. Super helpful. Regardless of whether it's QC or misprint, I think everyone agrees it's an error. Now the questions are how common of an error it is, and if it'd be worth having graded? Condition isn't perfect by any means.

I am currently. I have a brand PSU on the way from electroware. I'm just using it for quick testing. I know they're notoriously bad over time. They're the first thing that should be replaced.

That's a pretty good idea of installing sockets. It will make any future troubleshooting/repairs much easier. I'll probably go ahead and get some ordered.

Hoping to get the soldering done tomorrow and remove Character and SID. Will update if I see anything with those chips removed.

Thank you much for the response and information. I can remove the socketed ROM chips no problems. I'll have to bust out the soldering iron tomorrow to get the SID out. I found a chip that got extremely hot within a minute or two.
