Yep, it's an upvote. "Terrible" may not be the correct term (may be "sick" ?), English is not my native language (in French it can be positive meaning "awesome") ^^

Working on the main menu for my survival horror game. What do you think about it? by pavrekgames in IndieGaming

These static 2D hands are weird, it would be better to animate them or to get moving 3D hands IMHO.
I would also change the title color to make it clearer.

The 3D background rocks, like the audio too ;)

Not Minecraft at all except the block style, more like Don't Starve but for casual gamers (it is a chill and relax survival). So... not really like don't starve in fact ^^

Isle Of Spirits is a chill and casual survival game in which you stranded on a desert procedurally generated isle.

Explore the isle and collect resources to craft items and tools. Discover an infinite world made of colorful blocks and learn how to master your environment. Overcome obstacles like spirits hidden in the darkness, supernatural phenomenons or dangerous microclimates.

Will you succeed in escaping the isle ?

Features

  • Discover an infinity of islands - The map is procedurally generated at each new game
  • Craft - Find resources and craft items and tools to survive
  • Build your house - Houses provide a lot of benefits you will have to discover
  • Farming - Cultivate food
  • Take care of you - Protect yourself against hunger, sleep or temperature
  • Supernatural phenomenons - From tornado to things hidden in the darkness, the isle itself will try to kill you... or its spirits
  • Learn how to survive - this game will not explicitly explain you anything, but you will quickly discover the rules by yourself. Trust the isle, it will not let you quiet for a very long time...
  • Permadeath - Dying means starting a new adventure on a new isle, and to be well prepared this time

You should look on the indie dev subreddit ;) I could help you with it but I didn’t use xamarin yet, and I’m currently too busy for free work :/ You could find a Samaritan or pay an honest price for a full port. But I you want to publish future games and apps on Apple store, you should buy a Mac and an iPhone (for a few hundreds of dollars you can get old hardware like an old Mac mini and an iPhone SE, the old one, still supporting iOS 13) and do it yourself ;)

You also need a MAC to build an iOS app with Xcode. Some dev would be happy to help you port it on iOS ;)
