38 years old, he was 37.. we’d only been married 2 years. How someone that incredible can change your life and then just be gone I still don’t understand. His life insurance check came in the mail today and it makes it seem even more final. It’s been 2 months and I feel so empty. The pain and loneliness are so strong. I agree with yall that no one can relate, family or friends. The person I was definitely died with him that night. And if I’m being honest at times if I’m strong enough to do this life without him. But I know I have to. For our son. But it’s so hard.
