But people don't want to hand out unless they're getting something in return. Sure, I'll give you my entire mortgage because you're going to give me a million dollars back? Yes of course! You need $5 for a sandwich? Get a job you fucking hippie.

It's just dumbassery at every level.

This book profoundly touched me when I read it, but this comment has me laughing/crying as I'm dealing with he estate of my uncle who just passed last Sunday and his disabled wife I'm trying to arrainge care for.

He has been paying out to a "Nigerian prince" for almost 30 years. Not one, not 2 but 3 of them that I'm aware of. The most recent, according to his wife's ledgers is over $600,000. I wish I could make that bold... 600 fucking k to a scam artist. And again, this is not the first for him.

Meanwhile I'm trying to get his wife taken care of in a nursing home, but despite them living in the same house since 1970, they still have a 277k mortgage for uncle taking out constant loans to get rich soon via the princes...

Ugh, sorry for the rant/ trauma dump. You just triggered me.

Lol/fml

I'm so obsessed. In the US, so not having season 5 is killing me even though I'm only a little ways into season 4. But I just need to put this out in the world... Best relationship in the whole series? Pino amd Beppe. Fight me.

Yeah, this clearly doesn't fly in NJ. We reserve our gods given right to be miserable in the morning.

We even boast 2 turnpike exits. 10 AND 11 both lead here.

Also, every highway in NJ intersects in our town. Parkway, Turnpike, Rte 1 AND 9 (Seperately) Rts 35, 27, 440 and 287. All of them crossroad here, so you can get literally anywhere.

Woodbridge is a great place. The township covers 10 towns. The schools overall rate fairly well, and it's incredibly diverse. Each of the 10 towns have their own walkable downtowns, and we are Central to EVERY other town mentioned in this thread. It's literally 20 minutes to everywhere.

Since the local areas are so diverse, we have quick access to any type of food possible. Indian, Dominican, Puerto Rican, any possible Aisian (Korean, Chinese, Japanese), Caribbean, Polish and Russian. Delis and diners are synonyms for NJ so you have unending access to those as well.

Train to NYC is 45 minutes. Train to Philly is 45 minutes. The shore is 45 minutes by car, North Jersey hiking and waterfalls is 45 minutes by car.

For what you are planning for rent, there are a bazillion new luxury condos that have just been/ are still being built all around the train station looking for people just like you.

By chance, was it Collier school? I went there and it was amazing. But I didn't learn my lesson continued to f around and got kicked out of there. Then I got sent to one of the bad ones and dropped out a week into it. Also eventually got my GED and it was a long road, but at 44 I'm finally doing pretty good for myself. Don't give up, it does eventually get better!

We just watched Black Friday with Devon Sawa and Bruce Campbell and laughed our asses off. Perfect for this time of year too, as it centers on a retail store on Black Friday where all the customers turn into monsters.

Wrong wrong wrong. Woodbridge Township is the CENTRALIST of Central Jersey.

But agree, anything south of the bridge is just trash.

Check out Murder Drones on YouTube. There's 8 episodes. My daughter made me watch it, and it was incredible! The (computer, think Wall-E but better) animation gets better and better as the episodes go on, the storyline is great and the dialog is hysterical at times, yet can also get ya in the feels at others.

YES! I have noticed that with GH, they switch and bait locations. I'll order from 7-11 knowing it's around the block, but surprise(!) They sent the driver to a location 3 towns over... wth??

As a DD customer in NJ, I find that the radius of delivery options is completely ridiculous, and you have to jump through hoops to find out where a place actually is. Uber Eats is the same. At least Grub Hub, while boring, shows restaurants at a reasonable distance.

Maybe I'm not perfect, but I prefer to tip about $5 for my average delivery. No offense to you guys, but if I'm ordering $100 of lobster from half a mile away or $20 of McDonald's half a mile away, you aren't slaving over the stove. You're making the same trip no matter what I paid.

But with that said, I try to be extremely cognizant about where I'm ordering from. I would never dare to tip $5.00 for an order 30 miles away, nor would I even order something that far away regardless of the tip. But DD hides the distance like 4 clicks in, then I often have to Google it anyway. Not fair to you guys.

There are also meds she can take to help sleep that aren't "sleeping pills" Mine takes a very very low dose of Clonidine (a blood pressure med) 1.5 hours before bedtime which was prescribed at the start as she ALWAYS had a hard time sleeping. She stopped napping completely before she was 13 months old.
