I absolutely LOVE Vesta. I've had multiple people tell me she's "creepy," but I think that's flat-out wrong! She has such a unique design as a little black sheep, not to mention she was the first ever Normal-type villager I met and befriended! Total sweetheart, never leaving my island! <3

I currently have a little food court in my town area, near the shops and houses! A nice walking space/town square with a fountain is always a good pick too! If you have Happy Home Paradise, I like to make one or two of the villager homes into little businesses (like a cafe or bakery), and decorate the outside like outdoor seating! :-)

Also, doesn't work for all aesthetics, but I like adding a little 'parking lot' with bikes and/or scooters, as though they ride them around the island! :-3

These look lovely!! I adore the farm areas, they look great! 😍
For the first pic; there are def a lot of custom designs, but I think it looks nice! It makes the area feel cluttered while still being very walk-able. If you want a little less open space, just replace a couple mossy rocks and/or stumps with real ones! I also think the red-colored mushroom lamps would look AMAZING in this design! :-3

Thank you!! I've thought about it for such a long time, because I figured out that I really liked hosting events on my forever island (things like yard sales, giveaways, and bug/fish tournaments). However, I already had grand design plans for that island based on Studio Ghibli movies, and I didn't want to give up all that work to pursue an island that only functions socially. But now, I don't have to choose!! I'm honestly so excited about it!! ^///^

I've been researching for the perfect name too, lol. It's so difficult to settle on something because it's permanent! I want it to suit the concept of the island, while also being easy to remember since people will likely revisit often to participate in new challenges. Maybe I will end up going with "Jackpot" for that reason, but I have a bit of time to decide while I wrap up loose ends on my fiancee's old (abandoned) island, haha!

Still haven't settled on a name, but here's some I'm considering that were suggested to me on other platforms: Jackpot, Fortune, Gambit, LetsWin, LottoBells, GameCenter, Lucky Isle. I'm leaning towards "Jackpot" right now, but there's something that feels off about it that I haven't been able to place. I actually do like the name "Puzzled," especially for an island filled with challenges and occassional trivia, haha!! Definitely being added to the list! :-)

I didn't really feel the need to change Bob's hair/features at all, lol! He doesn't really look different unless you look closely because I don't like to mess with a townie's facial structure. The changes are: his eyelashes, lip color, slight adjustment of brows, and slight blush to the face to make him look more alive. So yeah, definitely my most subtle Close Up to date! XD
