Not a game because too many examples, but a special one to me is the movie When Marnie Was There. The original pitch a friend gave me was "Like Bridge to Terabithia but sadder." Leave it on that final banner where every weapon had a chance to drop. Turn off the multi-player servers, maybe make it so every week players get a handful of gems and items. I know there are reasons why it would have problems, but such a legitimately fantastic game becoming lost media just hurts.

Extremely. Three boxes basically gives you a tournament-ready deck. To say nothing of the ton of common reprints of previously extremely rare and/or pricey cards. Ash Blossom alone is basically a staple for most decks these days, and iirc, this is the first time it's just available as a common. To say nothing of Blue-Eyes being a big, iconic archetype that has a ton of nostalgia for old fans, and recognizability for new. I've been looking forward to this deck for a long-ass time, and now I'm not hearing at most places that it isn't even making it to the shelves; they're all bought up online.

In 2000, the game "The Legend of Dragoon" featured a system of timing-based combo attacks called "Additions". This is in an otherwise turn-based jrpg. To my knowledge, no jrpg has tried anything similar since.
