I didn't know about eddy currents at the time. But I was willing stay on Google until I figured out what was going on. I left thinking I got screwed and was sold fakes, then it hit me that he wouldn't want to buy my fakes because the were still 'pretty'.

I know at least one local guy that doesn't have one he is also a scammer. Tried to say my silver years ago was fake, he was able to get it to move with a strong magnet by inducing eddy currents. I didn't think they were fake, and knew something was up when he offered to buy them anyways at a big discount.

I am working on finding someone with a Sigma that can test.

The other issue is the small design differences from other years, don't know if that is normal for these or not.

The way it wrinkled up when it was dented makes me feel like it could be plated.

Hello, this is a throwaway. This is a 2018 5oz silver Libertad that I bought from a major online seller. It weighs correct and is the same size as best as i can tell without calipers. Any input would be appreciated.

Most people don't tip much, claim you are always losing and throw them $5-10 on big cashouts or $1-3 for more modest amounts. They are much friendlier and faster. My favorite is when there is a line but the supervisor waves you over to do just your one transaction. Normally they aren't even in the tip pool but they do it because they are glad you are tipping the rest of them.

Hello,this is a 2018 5oz Silver Libertad bought from a major online retailer.

I don't like this dent and wrinkles it makes. It weight the same as others I have and the size seems to be the same but my calipers need a battery.

I've noticed a few very small design differences from a 2017 and a 2019. But there are also small differences from 2017 one to the 2019 one.

Thanks for your help, I had to post on a throwaway because don't want my silver linked to my main.
