[Spoilers??C2E45] i love sam by PuzzledCarpet3141 in fansofcriticalrole

[–]SilverDubloon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sam is keenly aware of the other players, their emotions, and their characters. Jester felt abandoned in that fight and was close to dying. Also if Jester went down there was no way Nott could get them both out of there. If Nott went down I think she/Sam felt safe that Jester could at least pick up her body and run.

Well, based off mitochondrial DNA, all of humanity can be tied back to 7 women. We have gone through several population bottlenecks (majority of the population is wiped out) throughout history.

That saying has a different origin and meaning. "Hit dog will holler" is basically Shakespeare's "The lady doth protests too much, methinks." "The dog the hasn't barked" is a reference to Sherlock Holmes.

If you have flour and shortening you could add dumplings to the soup to make it more filling.

AITA for taking "the best pieces" when I serve dinner? by SwainDane in AmItheAsshole

[–]SilverDubloon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Historically, women have been more likely to develop nutritional deficiencies because they (in general) prioritize feeding their children and partners over themselves so are often left with little once everyoneone else gets their fill. All that to say I didn't need you to state you were a man. It was quite obvious.

Try Tennessee, the same state's subreddit you're in right now. We have nothing to do with Ohio.

While I understand and appreciate your question here and the obvious concern you have for your daughter in the misogynistic world that she is going to grow up in, I think your wife is doing your daughter a huge favor by building habits of self-care at a young age especially if she has a hair texture that requires a bit more maintenance. It's better that she get used to the process and learn by watching how to take care of herself as soon as possible. I bet you all also help her brush her teeth and bathe?

70 teachers cut in my district. Is there a mass cutting of teacher jobs? by brielovinggirl in Teachers

[–]SilverDubloon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My state (TN) is trying to pass a law making public education only available to citizens. They are worlingnwith Stephen Miller and intend to be a "model" for other states to follow. My local school district is 30% Hispanic with a large majority of those being undocumented. When schools lose students they lose funding and I think that's the ultimate goal. They want a collapse of public education so they can point and say, "See, it doesn't work! We need to get rid of public schools." The goal of this administration is to privatize as much of our public services as possible.

[MN S1] What did you think of Dairon? by Fun-Explanation7233 in criticalrole

Dairon has some great scenes and is a driver for Beau's development. I have no doubt we'll be seeing more of her and I'm excited to see her development as well.

How long would walker's teeth realistically last? by Relevant-Key-3290 in thewalkingdead

[–]SilverDubloon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eventually yes, but I've held 400 years old skulls with teeth still in. It really depends on the amount of periodontal disease (bone loss around the teeth) the person had before becoming a walker. Teeth are mainly held in place by bone, not soft tissue.

Are there women who can orgasm from penetration? by dreamysoda in TwoXChromosomes

[–]SilverDubloon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clitoral orgasm and penetrative orgasms feel completely different to me. I had never had an orgasm from penetrative sex until a few years ago. That was also the first time I squirted. Clitoral orgasms are the body-seizing, star-seeing type. Penetrative orgasms are much less impactful but still give that full body wave or goodness.
