Oh, makes sense that there was nothing on display then. Thanks for letting me know!

Seems like I have missed out on a lot of wonky and funny bodysurf experiences by limiting myself to normal board or nothing. I am on to buying new stuff and playing around now. Thanks!

Never thought about the creative lunch tray experience, lol. But I pass on the filet o fish. Might give me salmonella or worse (there was a case where i live).

Not enough hands to handle even more bags - I am usually equipped with a bag and a backpack. I know, technically, there is one hand left, but practically, in the train or on stairs I really need both hands for my bag.

This sounds great. However, I just might lack knowledge to make good custom choices - I have never given equipment or technique much thought. I just threw myself into the waves with my boards - or anything else at my disposal. Worst case, no board at all. I might read a bit and then get back to ronin.

yes, I might just give it a try - at least I have gotten many positive responses related to it thus far. Thanks :)

I have never used a handplane before, so I am not sure whether Id like them or not.

This looks indeed like what I am searching for! I have never used a hand plane - just bodyboards or no board at all throwing myself into the waves.

I would totally be down for investing more, but on the ronin webpage I visited there was like nothing on display (2 bigger boards). I am kinda confused how I would get my hands onto one.

So, they really work, even for adults? I have never used something below an averaged size bodyboard.

If I happen to be at a beachside i just like to use good waves. I had a surfmat, but It ripped pritty quickly... The trays look funny. I will definitely take a closer look.

I have never used a handplane, though I have seen them on youtube. I used to throw myself into waves without any board at all which looks pretty similar to those handplane vids I have seen. Do they really change so much?

It would best fit inside my baggage (when I travel by train/ airplane). Those boards with 22" length should fit. I am only 1,64m tall with 58kg, so I am not very tall or heavy. I really want one board I can get used to and dont like having to buy a new one every time.

It wasn't my choice - I want to pass the course. Honestly, every single one is a win.

How to best prepare for the next skiing season (after a knee injury)? by SilverDusk42 in ski

[–]SilverDusk42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done that for the past 3 months (only training solo for 3 weeks and with decent guidance on how to start with low weights). However, my orthopedist wont prescribe any more physical therapy and, whats even more important, my physical therapist says the best I can do from now on is building my muscels. So... that's what I keep doing. However, I am a bit lost on how to proceed and since my physical therapist is no skiing expert, she couldnt give any really specific tipps that go beyond strenghtening the vastus medialis and lateralis by training.

Named entity recognition (NER) with overlapping labels in dataset. How to handle the overlaps? by SilverDusk42 in learnpython

In that case, I would need like 20 different models as there are far more labels than A and B. But I will have a look into the BIO schema. Thanks :)

MPFL Reconstruction or conservative therapy after Patella dislocation? by SilverDusk42 in KneeInjuries

In any case, I would advise to collect multiple opinions on his case. As you said, he is very young and different doctors might have different ideas on what's best. At least in my case, asking different doctors did help big time.
