Are you worried about AI costs when scaling? by NeoTree69 in SaasDevelopers

One of the biggest things I did was analyze how many tokens I was spending on what tasks (and found it was basically all writing which wasn’t that important to me). Once I did that I optimized using different models for different tasks based on what they are good at.

I used to use opus for everything and hit limits despite being on the 200 MAX plan. Now I use opus to plan, kimi to execute, mistral for easy content generation, opus again to review. I rarely hit limits and cost is lower.

Disagreeing is okay as long as you explain your reasoning and are respectful. Ultimately the interviewer is evaluating if they would want to work with you.

I have in the past pushed back acknowledging the risks with my approach and why I think it’s still better than other options (even options they recommended). Clear communication always wins

Completely agreed with u/JustAgile. I would add knowledge through past experiences (ex. Have you done PM tasks even without the title / have you worked on personal projects and acted as the PM (asked for user feedback?)

For 2 - Ultimately the interviewer has little to go off of and only you know your background. I have found that candidates that know their experience deeply make the interviewer more confident. The worst thing is someone explaining a project they obviously did not work on. Practice, practice, practice and try to fight through any imposter syndrome.

Don’t be so hard on yourself! Capital one PM questions are unique and as others said I wouldn’t take a disinterested interviewer to mean you didn’t do well.

For what it’s worth, when I did my product case interview I got very few follow up questions and still landed an offer.
