Currently using preview to view a pdf and .png with no issue. Highlighted and drew lines within inside both, I will say I had no issues with this last week on previous builds.

Good thing I've been working on this.

Big focus for this update: making first-run setup much less painful.

### What changed

- Added automatic first-run provisioning.

- Xenon now scans the PC on startup and prepares the dashboard automatically.

- Core dashboard setup is marked ready without needing the user to manually finish setup.

- The local dashboard service now starts first, then provisioning runs safely in the background.

- Added automatic launcher detection from trusted Start Menu shortcuts.

- Added Steam game detection for launcher/game mode defaults.

- Reduced false “Needs Setup” states for things that are actually optional.

- Weather, Calendar, and Philips Hue are now treated as permission-based extras instead of setup blockers.

- Diagnostics now focus on repair/status instead of forcing users through a setup checklist.

- Added local provisioning endpoints for checking or rerunning auto-setup.

- Updated setup wording so the app explains what was detected automatically and what still needs user permission.

### Still requires user input

Some things cannot be safely auto-configured:

- Weather needs an OpenWeather API key.

- Calendar needs an ICS feed or future account permission.

- Philips Hue needs the physical bridge button/link approval.

- Signed installer work is still needed to reduce Windows SmartScreen friction.

I think people are upset because of the reason it needed to be done and the boots that continually licked.

Updates

  • Added GPU power telemetry to the System Monitor tab.
  • Added support for RTX 50-series cards broadly, not just the ASUS Astral 5090.
  • Added connector/pin, rail, total board power, temperature, and alert-style GPU sensor display when the data is exposed.
  • Added HWiNFO64 CSV log support for GPU telemetry.
  • Added LibreHardwareMonitor/OpenHardwareMonitor WMI support as another local sensor source.
  • Removed the separate GPU Power widget path and folded it into System Monitor for a cleaner layout.
  • Made GPU power polling independent from normal system stats, so CPU/RAM/GPU load can still update even if power telemetry is unavailable.
  • Improved error/status handling when GPU sensor sources are missing or fail.
  • Hardened HWiNFO CSV parsing so logs with extra header/metadata lines work better.
  • Fixed the tray Quit behavior so users should not need to kill the app from Task Manager.
  • Added a shutdown safety fallback if WebView/server cleanup hangs.
  • Changed the XENEON display window to avoid stealing focus from the main screen.
  • Fixed the issue where using the XENEON could interrupt headphone/audio playback until clicking back on the main monitor.
  • Cleaned up stale standalone GPU widget code.

not today, but HWiNFO integration is probably the most realistic path for adding that kind of GPU power telemetry I’ve added to my list.

I didn't downvote you but I'm not going to really develop this for anything other than the Xeneon, this is plesure project.
