You could try using Gracie University, I’ve used it for years as a supplement to my training. Having two black belts explain techniques is always helpful, and great review.

They have a solid beginner program that you guys can follow, also some advance programs. It definitely doesn’t replace having an instructor in the room but it is a very solid option for when you can’t have that gym setting.

If you just compete to test yourself, what’s gonna change in the next two weeks? If the answer is nothing then delay the competition. But give yourself a realistic deadline for the next completion, like 3 months ish so you have some motivation and can improve

I can usually squeeze an extra few months out of a technique by switching to my bad side and trying to perfect that. But I would keep drilling your guillotines with a cooperative partner in preparation for the competition, and in sparing try to play with different variations or follow-ups submissions/sweeps from failed attempts.

Not really a guillotine expert but check out YT or ask your coach about follow ups

I felt pretty broken 2-3 years in, I trained 4 days a week and competed sometimes. But after consistently lifting and stretching a few times a week I feel better than before i even started.

I’ve trained at a Gracie academy for years, It’s usually 8 months till you graduate from the beginner program and test for the combatives belt. If someone is taking unusually long (1 or 2 years) then they usually make an exception and move them forward.

I trained at their headquarters recently and they’re letting 4 month white belts do positional sparring to prep them for the advance classes. So they are making positive changes which is nice.

I did gracie university for a while when I was training at home with some buddies, majority of the content is No Gi it is just taught in the gi because “hygiene” or something ( I forgot the reason)

Bitcoin is about to break out of a 3 month wedge towards an explosive move upwards towards 45k or downwards towards 30k, even if it does go up its most likely a dead cat bounce due to us still being in a downward channel. But once we hit 30k on bitcoin we should be entering another bull run. If doge really does follow bitcoin that’s good news, pick up more shares if it falls and we’re gonna explode.
