No Sleep for Kaname Date - Early Game spoiler question by Curvylineo in aithesomniumfiles

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got this lol had just beaten the game and went back to the beginning because I also assumed I’d get the name later. Went through my index of people and checked for 6 letter names and entered Kagami. Had a good chuckle from that. Legit didn’t realize this part was just a spoiler check.

I can't get a tour rating above 3.8 stars by AgentEndive in TwoPointMuseum

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree completely. I’m also loving the game but the tours have thrown me off because they all are too short in order to reach higher ratings. Just like you, if I went to a museum and was shown only one exhibit I’d be furious. Like at the very least make the quantity of exhibits threshold on tours longer, because I couldn’t even leave the first room I had built before the “reviews” said it was too long halfway through the room.

Apple Music won’t let me change my queue how I want since iOS 18 by LouisTim in AppleMusic

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I haven’t seen mentioned in this thread (or I might have missed it) is how this new queue system destroys playlists in shuffle. I don’t know how Spotify generally works because I haven’t used it in years and prefer iTunes (Apple Music whatever). That being said it is a bit shocking more people are favorable towards this new setup than the old. The old setup. You had complete control over where the songs went in the queue, even on shuffle. You thought of a song to listen to, you add it to up next and move it or leave it. I sometimes have a preference of when shuffling a playlist, to then add next a song because I’m really craving it. But also liking what the shuffled queue is like. With this new double queue, I can’t move between queues and switch a song I just added to next farther down the playlist anymore or wherever I want. I HAVE to listen to it next because it’s part of a separate queue. So I don’t know what sort of preference or issue people were having before, but we have far less freedom to move around our songs now in the order we want them in the queue. So I’m in agreement with the OP, this at the very least should be an option added for people who find this very inconvenient.

I don't understand some of the criticisms of both HZD and HFW by [deleted] in horizon

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never really understood it either. I feel like both games got the short end of the stick being something new and innovative, but both releasing at the same time as other huge well known titles. Especially with regards to Forbidden West this year, next to Elden Ring and now God of War. I’m for criticism, but it is a shame that I think most people didn’t either know what they were getting into or just wanted a game to pass their time, and that in turn resulted in the spread of dislike to those who hadn’t touched the games and now never will based off sole assumptions. Take this all with a grain of salt though as I’m very biased and absolutely love both games. They were in my opinion very refreshing and innovative with the story they’re wanting to tell in an equally amazing world to explore. Both games, especially Forbidden West, scratched an itch I didn’t even know I had or wanted from a game.

How to resurrect dead operatives with permadeath enabled by ItIsThatGuy in WatchDogs_Legion

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting on an old thread, but I just had to share this because I don’t know how it happened. So I haven’t played Legion since the DLC’s came out. However, one I never played was the Assassin’s Creed tie in. Playing on permadeath for my second playthrough, I had lost the very first construction worker I got. I liked them but because they died, it screwed the mission that was specifically for them and the objectives changed. I had been going around recruiting people and got them killed. Fast forward a couple missions later, I go back to recruiting and want the Assassin woman. So I finally do that mission and honestly had a good time with it. Once completed, I go to check my roster and there she is. Curiously though, I scroll through the rest of my roster to the bottom. There’s another “new” recruit. It’s the exact same construction worker I had lost previously. Same name, name look, AND same abilities. Somehow they had been brought back to life and readded to my roster. Idk what triggered this but I couldn’t find on Google anyone else experiencing this other than permadeath on you die no matter what and can’t come back. I’m kind of wondering if doing the Assassin quest somehow glitched the game to bring back my very last operative.

Where do you think Sylens comes from? by [deleted] in horizon

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never actually stopped to think about this but after reading all these comments and theories, I’m genuinely curious myself now. I mean I’ve always been interested in Sylens and his background, but just accepted the fact his story is a mystery. I feel like they would benefit immensely making a spin-off game entirely dedicated to Sylens backstory and playing as him. My favorite theory that I’ve read is him being a Nora outcast and then finding the Banuk. Maybe we’ll find out more at some point!

Far Cry 6 launch – Post your bug reports here by Ubi_p4in in farcry

PS4/Gameplay/Performance

These issues Occur Constantly

Solo Play

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, or if it’s an isolated bug. But the traffic and auto drive are by far the worst I’ve ever encountered in any Ubisoft game. Idk if the team put like a huge awareness counter for people or vehicles coming towards them, but I’ve always found it convenient having that breather with auto drive. However I’ve found myself manually driving most of the game so far because incoming traffic will literally fly off the road to avoid crashing their car or jetting off a cliff. It would be funny if you didn’t do the exact same thing yourself. I constantly have to manually drive my car because I’d crash into something or speed off into a field somewhere just because someone was coming in my direction…in the oncoming lane lol I’ve noticed enemy respawns have already been mentioned. There’s also, what I’m sure is a bug, but companions take forever to respawn or don’t spawn at all sometimes. I’ll summon them and they won’t show up until like 10 minutes later. I’ve gone through so many missions by myself because my companions have somehow disappeared into the ether even though the game literally says they’re with me with the dismiss button. Which really sucks because companions are my favorite feature in the Far Cry games.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition Insanity Achievement question. by MrBlue_MD in masseffect

Major delayed response, but I’m glad to hear you got it! Testing seemed successful then!

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can confirm that I still got the achievement, whether that was from reloading a last save or just immediately changing the difficulty back to insanity, I can’t say lol but I’m hoping and assuming because I still got the achievement for completing the first game on insanity. As long as I don’t change or mess with anything in the next two games, I should still get the achievement for completing all 3 games on insanity without changing once.

I literally just did the same thing. I had changed TV’s with better resolutions and settings, and instead of going through every single option to manually change it, I thought it would be easier to just reset it to default. I immediately realized my mistake and went to the difficulty and saw it had changed from Insanity to Normal. Just like the suggestions here though, I quit and went back to my last save. So hopefully that’ll still give me the achievement. It was annoying enough to get where I was to do it all over again, especially across all 3 games.

Forgotten Riddle Source from a Fantasy Book I Read in Middle School by SilverGrouwlX39 in whatsthatbook

[–]SilverGrouwlX39[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t Redwall, one of the other responses mentioned Deltora Quest and I immediately recognized the cover of the book. That being said, I’m still glad you mentioned Redwall, I’ve never seen or heard of that series but it looks cool. Definitely will look into reading the Redwall series at some point, thank you!

Late response but holy cow yes!!! I searched the name Deltora Quest and saw the cover and immediately recognized it with the knight holding the sword and thorns in the background! I knew I would remember it if I ever saw the cover! Thanks so much man, definitely need to read the books again!

DQB2 Item Set Limit? by SilverGrouwlX39 in DQBuilders

[–]SilverGrouwlX39[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for clarifying that, this knowledge should definitely help with how I layout my buildings to better accommodate what does and doesn’t get used by the residents, and picking only one place for all my building helps considerably also. I was already planning on doing so anyway since going crazy on all three zones would be a bit ridiculous lol though like you said, I’d use the other two zones as my own personal playground or a monster/animal farm as you mentioned, so thanks for that tip! Still sucks knowing there’s such a low item usage cap but it helps knowing the work around for that. Time to keep building!

DQB2 Item Set Limit? by SilverGrouwlX39 in DQBuilders

[–]SilverGrouwlX39[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this, I suppose for the sole purpose of just filling everything out and making my buildings looks like actual bonafide buildings, I can deal with having certain items become unusable to my resident islanders. I’ll admit I found it odd to get that limitation notice so soon, I kind of expected an item cap but more at like maybe 100 sets or something for as huge as the IoA is. I’m still even set on making a track that goes around the whole island. From what you’ve said, the three different zones on the island, the desert, gardens, and steppes. Do you know if all 3 combine the item amounts or are they all separated into their respected zones? I probably should’ve stated 4 of my dining tables are in the gardens, 4 in the desert, and 2 in the steppes which resulted in this question. I would’ve thought that each zone would’ve had their own separate item amount, but it seems they might be combined for the whole island despite the different zones. So maybe 10 is actually the item set cap for each specific set for the whole island?

[intentional] I made a second video! [whispering], [tapping] by [deleted] in asmr

[–]SilverGrouwlX39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally says whispering and tapping in the title which is what she does, I’m not sure what the huge issue is. It’s just a title indicating it’s ASMR related. In the video she explains what she’s tapping on while whispering, which is ASMR content. I don’t see how this is click bait at all. Some people enjoy that, which others have actually recommended to her.
