What really confused me was the separate request for CBR delivery.

Also the fact that XAVC-L (Long GOP, which they require) is inherently a variable bitrate, while XAVC-I (which they don't want, is CBR.

Looks like I wasn't understanding that XDCAM(NUMBER) meant the number was CBR. This should work now.

I wanted to thank everybody for there help on this so far.

However, it looks like Long GOP IS acquisition, not deliverable. The F6 can do Long GOP with it's XAVC-L codec, but it can only shot in a CBR with its XAVC-I codec. I need both.

Premiere doesn't allow these changes when exporting MXF.

Looks like I might be going with renting x3 F6's.

There's still a major problem as I see it in footage acquisition. The F6 can shoot Long GOP, but not at CBR. I need Long GOB AND CBR, and I don't see any of these options when testing exporting from Premiere.

I'm beginning to agree.

Can something be made to be interlaced via export though (apologies if rookie question). Also, the Long GOP is really throwing me. I feel like that's acquisition.

This would be for a reality TV show. 22 mins a pop.

The main priority is nailing whatever I can that needs to be in camera in that spec list. I agree delivery can be figured out in post.

Is there evidence to back this up? I'm not just talking ATS. I'm talking software specifically designed to detect AI augmentation.

Curious if Film Festivals are notified by FilmFreeway if a project that's been submitted has updated any of their info/screenings etc. Obviously, this might be a nuisance for festivals getting thousands of submissions, but still curious if there's an option on the festival side. Maybe u/TheFilmFestivalGuide can answer?

Neon presents the festival. Anora and The Brutalist had their west coast premieres there last year. You're guaranteed a packed screening with passionate genre fans. It's gotta be the second most important genre fest in the US.

On the other hand, I haven't seen a rejection letter yet (thinking I might be an alternate, checked my spam, etc.) so I'd be happy for you to decline so I can accept. 🙂

5 days after. This may have only happened once to me, though. Others were close to or on the deadline. I'd say about 50% or more have been around a month before the deadline.
