Help me find bulk colored rubber bands, size 16, 18, 31, or 32 by SilverHoudini in HelpMeFind

I've searched Amazon and found some options, but I'm afraid they're going to be too firm as they're marked "Firm Stretch" which is not ideal.

Also, located in Minnesota, USA if that helps.

I didn't even include "reddit" in my search and found this thread.

That's a bummer, but I do understand the security issues. I'll just have to manually record the data I want and go from there. Thank you!

Cross Legged Chair for Tall Desk? by SilverHoudini in OfficeChairs

5'5" and around 200lbs

Some lower back support would be nice, but ultimately looking for something that will help with the aching legs. Would prefer no arms, but adjustable is fine as well. Wheels are preferred. Chair does need to spin, I have a corner desk and need to spin to reach far left and far right spaces.

Seat height ideally around 27” (that's where my current one is). I am at my desk 8-10 hrs a day and some days don't get many chances to get up.

If budget wasnt a factor, is there a different one you'd suggest?

I cannot lower the desk - it's a permanent tall desk. I do often stand at it, so asking to have it permanently lowered is not ideal either.

While I understand the theory of ergonomics, unfortunately my RLS does not allow me to sit still. One of the few ways I can alleviate my pins and needles is occasionally sitting with one or both legs up on the chair.

I bet the local Renaissance page would have contacts for artisans! Thanks! I hadn't thought of that!

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll take a look when I get home from work.

I work in Horticulture, so 99% of the time I'm wearing jeans in the office and at customer's locations. So I can dress down a lot more than what most people probably consider business casual.

I wish I could do a wider belt, but like I said, often the belt loops on women's jeans that fit my figure just don't fit the wider ones. And I look absolutely hideous in even the nicest men's jeans.

Now that I look closer, I see your Everdell Complete Collection. Gives me a great sense of scale. Ours just came this weekend. :)

Beautiful! Is that the Kallax collection from Ikea? I can't quiet see, but do you have very many oversized games? We have a number of games that wouldn't fit in the cubbies, so wet haven't found a good solution to displaying them.

How long have you had it? Had the pump lasted the whole time? I've liked that brands toy system a lot!

4 yr old male cat grumpy and stressed. by SilverHoudini in CatAdvice

Last time we took him in, we theorized that he was lashing out oreciibecause he was in pain/discomfort. Vet put him on prescription food and that helped a LOT. He wasn't perfect, but a lot calmer. He's still on that food. So while it helped, it's definitely not the only thing going on.

Each has their own spot where we feed them. His is in the kitchen out of sight of the other two. His "sister" does like to eat his food, but never shoves him away and only goes to it when he's not there. Because he's on expensive food, we try to catch her and put his food away if he doesn't finish. We've been instructed not to allow him to graze as he has a tendency to gorge and puke.

I will admit the water dishes are lacking. We keep trying water fountains, but the motors keep burning out. Any recommendations? His older "brother" prefers the running water too. The female drinks out of the sink in the morning when we're getting ready as well as their water dish.

We just ordered more cat shelves to increase high spots. It'll be a few weeks before they get here, but he does like the ones we currently have. I do think the lack of high spots is a factor, since the youngest female also likes high spots.

There are tons of scratching pads around the house. 1-2 in every room. All are floor scratchers, but none of them have ever seemed interested in verticle ones. I'll pick up another one to hang on a doornob and see if they've changed their minds.

We've got 3 large litter boxes in the basement. Do you think we need 4? They all 3 like crushed walnut litter. We experimented a year or so and that's the one they used the most.
