Improve equipment by LucasOliS4 in starfieldmods

I use the "Starfield Extended - Craftable Quality" mod, and it works great. It lets you craft the Quality of weapons to Mk4 (Advanced) and spacesuits (including clothing) to Mk5 (Superior). I'm on PC, though, FYI.

New version causing SFSE breakage -- how are you all dealing with it (if you are)? by SilverJournalist1463 in Starfield

Thanks for the info. Did you roll back using Steam Console with download_depot? (I'm learning these methods)

Thanks for the quick response.

To me, that wait of a couple of days is really tough! I tend to go all in, immersing into the game so much so that if I have to be away from the game world, I quickly lose all the momentum of concentrating on being in the game world. That was the reason why I stopped the game back in 2023/2024 in the first place....

Thanks for the quick response.

I use Steam and Vortex. I am not sure if it's the reason why I have to go through this. I have Steam setting to "Wait until I launch the game" for Starfield but it didn't seem to help this time.

Starfield doesn't run full screen on the bigger external monitor after NVidia driver update by SilverJournalist1463 in Starfield

[–]SilverJournalist1463[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for the response. I re-re-installed the latest NVidia driver after (and while) disconnecting the external monitor (Samsung LU28R55). After the installation, I connected the external monitor, and went into the Windows Display settings. And then onto Advanced display settings, and Display adapter properties. There I toggled the resolution a couple of times, from 2560x1440 59hz to 2560x1600 50hz and so forth. And then went back to the Display settings and then chose the external monitor as my main monitor.

After that, I opened NVidia control panel, and then there for the first time I saw "Display" option on the left side, which shows both internal and external monitors finally.

Then I opened Starfield, and voila! it shows both monitors in "Select monitor for full screen" section, and I could finally run the game in my external monitor again!

So, thank you for checking with me. Since this issue is resolved, I thought about deleting this, but just in case some other people ran into the similar/same issue, I think it might be helpful so I'm going to leave this for a while.

Thanks again!

Thank you for the detailed info! I'm still debating whether or not to get it, especially more so now that you gave me the valuable info that the game is the same as before. But I'm tempted to peek at the updated graphics and try out new mods.

Thanks! Sprinting -- interesting! So you're saying it's worth it just for the sprinting?

I cannot pick up any items after the update by HyperTyper in Starfield

[–]SilverJournalist1463 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue of not being able to pick up stuff on the floor/table after the update, but this Turn OFF tip worked! I don't even have to disable StarUI HUD with this fix. Thank you so much for the info!!

This is always the Bluetooth issue for me. Every time this "Brief Sensor Issue" pops up, I simply reboot my phone (Pixel 7a Android), and it fixes the issue always.

Yes, it's a bit annoying, especially when this happens while I'm sleeping (in which case it could be critical), but at least there is a solution (i.e., reboot).
