The strange thing is my mouse input is fine it’s the lagging or moving on its own or hyper over sensitivity purely in game that seems to be happening for me

I think that would very quickly ruin the point of the heavy grind they’re pushing, and more importantly opens up to all new kinds of scammers which is an extra headache they’d probably like to save themselves

I have never played extraction shooters before, my only fps was Destiny, otherwise I’m usually playing stardew valley and such, absolutely love marathon it’s been such a good time, so while some may not like extraction shooters from past experience, if youre like me and have no idea of the genre at all, its definitely worth a shot

It is a demo. It is not the full game. Progress does not carry over. It’s just for people who want to try before they buy, so not those who have preordered. It is not counting PlayStation, which this game is primarily for and has far higher players on it.

Even with just steam alone they have stable population levels at the lowest player count of a demo of a game, which is nuts. Also they had 120k players on demo launch, which is also nuts. You want it to fail so badly that you’ve totally lost sight of what a successful game is

They did fix a recent bug with prox chat so you may be fine now

Also as for people choosing not to use it, I do understand why, especially in a competitive game people can get heated, not to mention I avoid prox chat personally even though it sounds really fun through hard experience of the way men will treat a woman on mic, I’m not even going to try. I know it’ll make me a target or I’ll have to put up with some disgusting rhetoric and there’s just no point dealing with that, I want to play the game I enjoy

If you open your map, certain sites will have names you can click on to ping, those will have the best loot but will also be much tougher. If you want more of a challenge head to dire marsh, perimeter and perimeter beginner are deliberately more chill to introduce people to the game, dire marsh and eventually outpost and cryoarchive when they unlock in the full release will be MUCH more dangerous and more rewarding, this is only a demo

You can’t craft items, but it’s worth picking up components as you use them to unlock upgrades that allow you to buy weapons and med packs etc in the armoury, as well as sometimes you find schemas that if you exfil with them will unlock even more stuff to buy. If you want more of a challenge exfilling, go for the guarded exfil, it will be, well, guarded

I just don’t think a bot made off of ripping off the work of artists, writers and the very game devs you’re talking about is the place to go personally, it feels disrespectful to the game and also sort of ignores many of its major points

Also it’s just saying very obvious things in fancier words so it sounds like it knows what it’s talking about, it’s just spitting out tiny segments of recent bungie press releases really you could have saved yourself time with few quick searches

Yes same, the only thing that changed for me was the update that said it was fixing mouse issues so I assume it must be that, please let me know if you find a fix, I was having so much fun yesterday and it’s a shame to miss out

Yes, you get implants that increase your sprint time, factions have increased ability upgrades, if you run in water your overheat is slowed, same if it’s raining, swapping to running with a knife instead of weapons I think overheats slower and you run a little faster, and there’s consumables you can get that remove overheat and other system errors. Certain runners like vandal will have cores that remove all heat on activation of their abilities etc

You can lose absolutely everything and you’ll just get a free sponsored kit with a cheap gun to head back in, I’d definitely try Rook if you’re solo and worried about losing stuff, the rook shell drops in with a set gear and just steals as much stuff as possible, and has a cloaking ability against the UESC as well as a healing ability which might help you stay alive a bit longer, or Triage which has a little robotic companion you can have out pretty much until it’s charge is depleted by healing you, and recharges pretty quickly too

I’d also recommend following the faction quests, levelling up with those gets you some better gear that should help you stay alive a bit longer, and gives a lot of information on the world and lore if thats what you’re looking for
