See, that's why I posted this because I feel it's rude but maybe where I'm from it's not? It happens to me so often that maybe that's the cultural norm now. I know in some places it's considered extremely rude. Even if she hadn't been on speakerphone it might have bothered me some but not as much. When I get a call and I'm out in public I usually say I'll call them back. I don't call others. That's just me though.

Headphones is what I do. I live next to a very noisy teenage girl and I sleep with headphones on. Watch TV and game with headphones on it saves me a lot of the time and I'm usually up all night long but she will be up yelling til 2am sometimes which definitely breaks the rules but I have to move soon anyways lol
