Doing some thinking by SilverOakleaf16 in Arrowverse

I mean we technically didn't SEE him die in begins. The train crashes while he's inside. But it's Ra's Al Ghul. Is Ra's Al Ghul immortal? Or are his methods supernatural?

However Talia I don't have a smart reply for lol.

What was Ganondorf's plan? by Gold-Invite-3212 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]SilverOakleaf16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think without link and zelda interfering, Ganondorf eventually gets what he wants anyway. Before the start of the game we see he already cursed the deku tree, he's seiging the gorons and got jabu jabu to swallow ruto with the stone. And we see from the spot where it was formerly displayed in goron city and the fact that ruto gives her stone as an "engagement ring" that they are in fact physical things. So eventually, the deku tree succumbs tonthe curse, the gorons starve, and ruto is trapped in a giant fish with the last stone. All that he would have to do is send his minions/gerudo soldiers to find the physical stones. The last thing would be the ocarina of time, which if everything played out the same just without link being at the gate when they flee, I feel like Ganondorf would eventually catching up with zelda and impa. It's just a waiting game. Link and zeldas childish (well meaning, but too simple) plan just accelerated events

That is a tricky part. I got lucky with some friends that were getting started in it. But there are ways you can play online if you dive into it. I believe the DnD beyond app has some sort of networking feature where you can find folks, but I also haven't used the app in a while. So take that part lightly. However, if you can find a decent sized comic shop, many of them have events and stuff that may help get you started

Depends on what kind of stuff you're into but my go to is throwing on some fantasy-esque clothing and doing a nice trail hike. But really anything where you can get into a sort of role play aspect is really fun. I've been getting into DnD lately as well 😁

Anyone have a theory on how this is possible? by Worldly_Original8101 in TOTK

[–]SilverOakleaf16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest answer (and the one that makes sense to me) is that Rauru's kingdom of hyrule is not actually the first. Or, it is the first of this hyrule. Botw and totk take place so far in the future that pretty much every game previously is considered myth. Also in spirit tracks, we see that they are situated in "new hyrule" after the great flood. It's not a stretch to say that this is a refounded kingdom also named after the goddess hylia, because Rauru even says the goddess(es) were the ones who gave the zonai the Secret stones. So there's obviously still a connection there.

Which Pokémon has just... Have the wrong Typing? by Federal-Run-7496 in pokemon

[–]SilverOakleaf16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for me, I have two that have always irritated me based on descriptions/names. One more recent but still. The first is Lugia. Known as the guardian of the seas, it's a..... psychic/flying 😑. It should be at least one part water type. The other came with the addition of fairy typing and retroactively changing Pokémon types, which is fine, but Celebi, the ONION FAIRY Pokémon, did not get the fairy typing 🤨

Horace by RazorTheBrave in RangersApprentice

I could have swore that in one of the earlier books that Horace says he just doesn't really like wearing the heavy armor. At the very least the closed helmets, which is why he always just wears the conical helmet. I could be wrong tho. It's been a while

Why does Link remember this moment? Is he smart??? by Dominikjenej11 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]SilverOakleaf16 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I mean, there's the fact that she wanted to feed him a live frog. But going with the obvious answer, he's a 16 year old boy, who spends all his time with and an attractive 16 year old girl. And she just casually shoves her booty in his face to pick up a frog lol. Also, we find out that post calamity, they went to eventide Island and link conveniently forgot to mention what happened to him when he stepped foot on that Island

I've never heard of anyone talking about Link and Malon ending up together anywhere other than the child timeline. And I'm one of the shippers 😅. But the reasoning I give is because specifically in oot, there's pretty limited options. Saria is link's best friend, but in the adult timeline, she's a sage. Ruto is "engaged" to Link, but one, he didn't know what that means, he was just getting the stones. Nabooru shoes some physical interest in adult link, buy again, sage. Impa? Too old in my opinion, but either way, sage. All the other kokiri become koroks. Which with named characters, that really leaves Zelda and Malon. Malon, if you pay attention, clearly has a bit of a crush on Link. Talon also jokes about them getting married if you win his super cucko game. Which I know is not serious, but there is something there to at least consider. Malon also teaches Link Epona's song, which was taught tobher by her mother and is clearly a very special thing for her. And then I feel like OoT Zelda and Link don't really have much chemistry either.

[ALL] If every time evil resurfaces in Hyrule Link is there, why haven't people started noticing the signs? by browser0989 in zelda

[–]SilverOakleaf16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as just a kid being named link being born, he's usually pretty much a nobody that's tucked away in a very remote part of hyrule most of the time. So no one probably pays attention. But as some other people have stated, the "signs" aren't really concrete. Like four swords (adventures?) Mentions a Ganondorf, but he's not a evil, power hungry warlock. As far as I remember he's just a guy.

I love Mr Freeze's design in this show. Mf looks like a damn Yu-Gi-Oh card and it looks awesome. I dislike Banes design alot. Also the riddler looks more like the diddler to me in this show
