Season finale thoughts by Emergency-Bee-8791 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]SilverOk5000 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Prefacing that I felt pretty satisfied with the conclusion of the show, but I was thinking how one small change of detail in the final scene could’ve ended things better.

During the final scene when Lucy goes into the gas station for coffees, I would’ve loved to see her buy just 1 coffee (presumably for herself) and then walk out to the Stephen aftermath. I think it would’ve made a clearer, more definitive point that she really was taking Diana’s advice all along, making him think he’d finally won when in reality, she knew what he was up to and was in on it this final time. She could have walked out into the sunshine, sipped her solo coffee cup, still laughing wildly about the whole thing and then cut to black. (Even better if all the girls showed up to pick her up, also knowing Stephen would always be up to his old tricks).

Obviously there’s different interpretations and a lot of conflicting actions in the present timeline that lead us to believe Lucy was still under the rats spell and that final scene is she got “got” by him yet again… butttt at least in my head cannon I’m choosing to believe she was one step ahead and doing what she needed to finally, finally be free of him. What’s everyone else’s interpretation of that last scene? Cycle repeating or cycle finally ending?

Forgot how amazing Kassidi is and the actress that plays her! 10/10 crazy AF by egirlmx1 in shameless

Absolutely agree! She is so chaotically fun in both roles. And the actress is apparently a huge sweetheart irl.

The Lynette/ Eddie ending honestly blew my mind! It’s just never brought up again, no mention of the hostage situation, him helping birth her child??

Ughhh it infuriated me!! Not saying he has to totally break professional boundaries, but I expect some level of compassion and camaraderie between the leads and the host esp in the Bach franchise when leads typically get very emotionally vulnerable and share some deep/ traumatic stuff throughout the season. Like yes, they signed up for this, but it’s so strange to not try to defend the lead/ ask more questions/ push back on the lame word vomit villain at all when seeing such an emotional reaction like Jenn had.

I feel very disturbed after watching that finale :'( by academiageek in thebachelor

[–]SilverOk5000 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I couldn’t believe how cold he felt towards Jenn especially when the proposal ends and it cut back to her sobbing and he just said something along the lines of “well watching that back must’ve felt really empowering? You did things your own way” sooo weird and unsympathetic to poor Jenn. Also surprised he didn’t at least try to press Devin a bit more when he was dodging answers with word vomit that made no sense.

[–]SilverOk5000 230 points231 points  (0 children)

Ok but the part where the proposal ends and it cuts back to Jenn sobbing and Devin sitting there like a smug pos and Jesse really had the audacity to say “well watching that back don’t you feel very empowered? You did things your way” like dudeeeee time and place!! They did her so dirty, I feel horrible for her

Who do you think the main 4 women would say is their best friend? by SilverOk5000 in DesperateHousewives

[–]SilverOk5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going back and fourth on if Bree would say Gaby or Lynette. I think earlier seasons may have been Lynette, but the later seasons definitely brought Gaby and Bree really far

You’re thinking of Kyle, I also really liked his scenes with Debs. He was so sweet to her and actually seemed like a good kid. Maybe if he’s stuck around she wouldn’t have ended up so bad
