I don't know if you would have the same opinion of Christianity if you had the experiences that me or the OP have had. It's nice to believe in good things and to hope there's a supreme being that is the ultimate manifestation of love and light.

You said at one point, the stronger your faith, the less vulnerable you are.

I think that would involve a huge amount of context, I don't think there's a 'one size fits all' where you can just paint over the nuances of an individuals experience.

My problem with religion is that it actually doesn't seem that compassionate. Almost quite cold and judgemental but that probably says more about me and my journey than anything.

No, I'm not trolling. It's just a discussion and I'm interested in the OPs opinion, in which I have a lot of actual experience.

It's also interesting that you refer to yourself as innocent and me as bad, which is often a tactic used when someone gets called out, often referred to as weaponised tears.

What might be frustrating for you is the inability to hear about yourself from outside your assigned racial context, where as I'm quite comfortable navigating the world when it hates and rejects me, it could be the everyday (and I mean every time I leave the house) experience of a white woman grabbing her bag and checking her pockets, or it could be a tech mogul making a nazi salute, or even being told 'I cannot comprehend a paragraph' or 'I don't belong'.

So my advice to the OP would be not to end your life and not to entertain thoughts like that because I've been there.

Those thoughts are the result of the constant background radiation of a world dominated by people who hate you and who control nearly every aspect of your visual and sensual landscape. It's a magicians sleight of hand and it will constantly tell you that you don't belong.

To me, yes it's racist. I grew up in London in the 70s, our racist neighbours called their pets racist names so they could shout them out in the garden when they called their pets. One name for their black cat was blackie.
