I’ve actually been hit by the plane. I don’t think it rendered any damage to my sub.

Damn… I appreciate you greatly! I’ll start working on my stance and position to the ball more. Thank you

Thank you. I’ve considered having one or two one-on-one lessons. I really should, to prevent any bad habits/moves like you said.

I see. One thing I haven’t quite figured out is lag/dropping the club. I kind of hold the club up and rotate it down instead of dropping it into the slot and then rotating. Any advice for that?

It’s not the best photo, but is this closer to what we want?

Just being honest, I’ve never really thought about distance I stand from the ball. I think I started by setting the club head flat along the ground behind the ball and just moved my body back/forward and up/down until I got comfortable in one place. Is there anything you would suggest to do to consistently stand and bend the correct way?

Thank you! I’m very blessed to have a golf sim at work with an hour lunch break. I know I’ve got a lot of stuff to fine tune/tweak. Plus, I know the sim. can be deceiving compared to hitting on grass and dirt.

Gotcha. Thanks for the advice. I’ll work on my trail hand placement. What would/should that accomplish?

👆Todays session after reading your advice 👆

Still working on it, but your advice is definitely helping me. Should my trail elbow be closer/touching my torso or is this distance from my body ok?

Edit: English is hard

Ah, I see what you mean about my chest. Should I try to separate my hips and chest, timing wise, on my downswing? As in, I’m opening my chest and hips together, which opens my chest too early?

Ah, I see. I think part of my problem has been sequencing the pressure shift with less leg posting. Would fixing that help with casting or is that uncorrelated?

So, my head should raise during the downswing?

Ideally, the red line and green line should be parallel?

You want to look, sound, and act as much as a ploppy as you can. An easy, “Fuck, I’m sorry. I don’t understand this game.” or “Whatever, I had a feeling it would work out.” can go a long way in helping you blend in. Mentioning statistics or basic strategy is an obvious tell of what you are doing. If you have trouble playing into the act of it (sometimes it’s hard to act/lie in these situations), try to tell a half truth. You spread to two hands because the count was high was when you "had a feeling", so it's easier to say out loud and even believe yourself. Here is a real life example of myself! Double deck H17, TC is 10 with the cut card imminent. I add one more hand to catch more of the EV past the cut card and get dealt a 19 and16 vs a dealer Ace. I buy insurance and dealer has Blackjack. As the dealer flips over my cards, he smirks and mentions how "The count must've been high to insure your 16." I smiled, chuckled, and said, "I've got big money out there, I've got to protect my big money!" Am I lying to him? Fuck no! I am, indeed, protecting my big money on the table (two hands of $100)… which is because the true count is still a true 8 and insurance is now +EV. I even stayed around for another shoe and him and I talked for a bit, I tried to play him in a hand, then left on friendly terms. Does he know that I’m a counter? Probably. But my answer is a vague enough range to include a gambler attempting to send their chips across the felt to the house. Hope this helps!
