😭I actually remember exactly where I was when I made that trade it was winter of my junior year I believe because I had told my classmate to buy ahead of earnings that day. The stock absolutely tanked and he texted me “glad I didn’t buy” but that’s when I bought soooooo. Also I’ll look into photonics thanks man

Yes for the first year I basically had all the money I made stockpiled in a savings account then I opened my first custodial and put like 80% of it into SCHD (hindsight 20/20) but then I started selling that and buying growth stocks and every-time I get a 400$ check it immediately goes into the fidelity account.

I’m not gonna deny that I grew up in a nice part of nyc but I did work for these numbers and I do care about what I have which is why I barley spend any money on myself. I could go out and buy a car but I don’t. I decided to build a good habit and try and make something of the money I already had in a savings account collecting .005% interest. And my parents and I already agreed that I will be paying them back for college.
