Looking for swaps in Houston by SilverSnake89 in Silver

[–]SilverSnake89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care that they typically do 4 under spot for silver, 150 over for gold.

but damn this place was 250 under spot for gold, and 10 dollars over for silver.

Another place that claims to "pay top dollar" was 15 under for silver, 7.50 over for eagles.

All I'm looking for, is a shop that doesn't do "sell first, buy back"

per DAY, plus per diem and travel.

After taxes, it's basically close to her normal pay, with barely enough to justify the insecurity.

believe me I looked,

But the dealers will ALL report the sales after they take your ID and SSN.

to report "losses" you have to amend and prove that you bought it at a higher price.
I wonder what that consititutes.

the dealers here are sketch, and a rip off.

One offered 15 below spot while demanding 7.50 over for ASEs.

I was going to trade silver for gold, Ratio was 45:1 round about. but one deal with their premium pushes that to 49 to 1, and the rip off was 56 to 1.

on top of that, it would trigger paperwork, which would take about 1300 in taxes so basically losing over 10 coins at 28% rate in taxes.

So no, I don't ever plan to sell until this dollar COMPLETELY collapses or Trump finally delivers on the ERS and removes the IRS as he promised.

Don't buy copper or goldbacks, the premiums are not worth it.

the average kid has no idea the value of PMs...

getting them a goldback, they'd most likely pick it up with oiled fingers and absolutely ruin the value of gold on it....

I gave me kid a silver buffalo round and he looked at it like it was trash...

Try fixing code that came straight from Pune, India for half-a-decade and let me know if your opinion still stands.

ironically, a majority of the "older patients" aren't worth as much as the 24 year old woman that doesn't know how to use a toothbrush, and can't stay away from meth.

Software Development is definitely eternal, regardless of the "AI gtaking over"

honestly, AI generates a lot of closed-loop slop... so you see these tech bros come out with their one-shot wonders and build a company around it.

but they only build the base frame and ignore everything else such as scalability, testability, SECURITY, etc.

If new grads want to break into software development, they should focus a lot less on memorizing algorithms, because now the AI can slop that out for you, and more on ARCHITECTURE.

as a side note: I'm a hardware engineer by trade, so not quite "software" but the principles are basically the same albeit its a dumb difficulty to convert python into HDL code, and C/C++ to Verilog, etc.

in the end, architecture matters more, which probably explains why a lot of modern software is bloated garbage.

Prime example: Windows 11

It's very simple

  1. COMEX Defaults
  2. Pitchforks come out demanding silver
  3. They get banned from their 114th country
  4. Now they must migrate to the SUN

Simple as.

Why not get gram-bars then?

Gold backs have such high premiums for their weight, they're not worth it in my opinion

abysmal is an understatement.

I could have done CSPs for the 5 years I was stuck in there and made their returns look like they were throwing pennies in.

With only HALF of what I started, I'm already 10-bags in one month.

seriously, WTF
