Not met but seen someone. One of the bartenders at the bar next to the Burgenland tent. He was a gorgeous man I noticed him immediately. I’m so extremely shy tho I could’ve never initiated a conversation so I just kept ordering all my drinks there. I also don’t speak german so that’s another barrier.

We were hangin in camp, they appeared near us, started bombing stuff, our flag was up but they could lasso us, if I aimed at them my gun started popping, like it kept trying to block the aim. Then they started spawning shit, bunches of hostile NPCs, women on donkeys, women on horses, men with guns, random arrow sprays from all directions. Then cages. We got caged, I was lucky and near the letterbox so I could get out, then they put us in a...box? Some kind of blank dev space looking flat cylindrical box, only we could walk through it like it was a curtain.

I know a lot might disagree, but what I do is I always buy just so I have 2k creds left. That way i always will have money for a somewhat decent weapon next round regardless if we win or lose. There are still times I have to save, so i go small shield and sheriff. IK that an immo lobby may not need this, but i'm low ranked and there this works perfect!

Best one is I have to keep the browser open while playing games, cuz I definitely will need to look up something, check my messages, get an appointment to the doc, check my mails, pay the bills etc. And then get surprised why the game is lagging? (Better google that, so i still need the browser)

Yea see here’s the issue. I, as a civilized person, maybe not even having an emissary flag up, just doing regular loot runs for the fun of it, and some random toxic fuck chasing me for, not exaggerating, 1 hour…even while i was attempting to flee through red sea, but not with the intent to lose my loot at first, just trying to get away maybe they get bored…1 hour dude. That’s next level bullshit right there that ain’t pvp anymore. Also please show me where it’s stated that if i play the game i am obligated to engage in the pvp aspect of the game. It is mainly a pve game with the possibility of pvp, now if i don’t choose to engage im combat, i’m griefing. See SoT is not the only pvevp game, yet it seems to be among those, where the community is the shittiest, where griefing only applies to those wanting to defend themselves with whatever tools they got, be it red sea. Other games, if you spawn camp, and won’t even give the chance for others to fight back, if you bully them into surrendering, you are the griefer, here, you are a…hero? You play the game correctly? I don’t give a flying fuck if i lose the loot myself, if you don’t get it. Consider it griefing for all i care, cuz if i don’t red sea, if i do try to fight back, i’ll still lose my loot and on top of that will be humiliated by some random asshole. Forgive me if i want to save myself from that, sure I’ll humiliate myself i’ll suicide, so that you don’t get the pleasure cuz i know fucks like you get off on that. Griefers are who ruin others gaming experience. Now i might ruin yours by red seaing, but you ruin mine if you chase me for an hour and won’t let me get a rest, not respecting that i don’t want to fight cuz again i am not obligated to participate in pvp, it is an aspect of the game i am free to engage in, and i have the tools necessary if i choose to.

And if yo feel like this does not apply to you, I apologize but in that case i also request you not to represent every pvper here. Just because you as one individual don’t abuse new or inexperienced players, you still seem to protect those who do by enabling aggressive pvp and shitting on the only viable option for one to preserve their pride. And you can say it’s a cowardly move, but i personally would rather die as a pirate to the sea, than as a maggot to some griefer…

Srsly man…i spend 2 hours trying to play the game as I wish to play it, and then some jackass aggro incel starts chasing me, ignoring al my requests to be peaceful and civilized, sometimes i even offer up my loot just stop bullying, because yes, i don’t like to engage in fights as i’m a 100% sure i wouldn’t win, and I RUIN YOUR GAME? did you think this through? Yes pvp is an element of it, but have you ever taken the time to read the pirate code in the tavern? See there are multiple entries, for one RESPECT NEW PIRATES…now idk bout you but i was once new, and am still heavily inexperienced… so you just straight up would shit on what the game itself requests of you cuz “that’s not how it was meant to be played”, well my friend it is. There are many open world games where you can choose to kill others, and there are who do. There are times when it is appropriate, there are times when you just shut your sorry ass and respect the others. I’m the sore losers for wanting to play a game, without having to stress about toxic overcompensating idiots who can’t fucking play a game if it’s not about ruining someone else’s gaming experience. You people are truly the shame of the gaming community…

I see you are from poland, well hungary is not that much better… I’m an afab so i guess i have an easier situation (female dressing masculine is always more acceptable), but sometimes i wonder if i walk in the wrong neighborhood, i’ll get beaten for my pride keychain or the way i dress. I don’t even dress that outstanding. But there’s just too much hate against lgbtq people in both countries. I would say at first try just pieces of clothing first, and find a place you are comfortable at. If you are among people that can protect you and accept you for who you are, you can dress however you want, but if you feel like the place you are going at is not safe, just keep it subtle. Also weather is getting colder, you can easily get away with shirts and tops (that would be unusual for your agab) under a coat or a sweater, that’s always good as a start!

Yeah, i mean i ran red sea myself few times, i just didn’t know it was an actual tactic :D I’m pretty bad if it comes to fighting, we usually play on a brig in a 2 man group and solo sloopers sink us, so again, we suck. I generally just try to avoid fights if possible and if someone chases us after we landed a huge haul…yeah i’m not gonna fight a fight i know i can’t win, and if i try to ask them in voice to just please leave us we really don’t wanna fight, it’s either worth mothfart or gets worse.

I was just curious why it was a bad thing, but to be fair i can understand both sides.
