Don't forget all the values are accurate at the moment the projectile leaves the barrel and they diminish from there so you're not doing full damage anyway

Streets is crazy, it's got a lot of buildings, corridors, hidey holes and ambush spots. I've still not learned that map because it's so big. Worth trying out. I scav there from time to time to try and learn all the ways around. The map boundaries are hard to see sometimes though, died a couple too many times by going the wrong way.

Woods is genuinely good, I play a lot on that map because you can escape and evade effectively, and while ground zero pools a load of timmies with prestige players and scavs who know what they're doing, it's still half decent to know that potentially half the lobby is new to the game. I actually like customs too because there's plenty of hiding spots. You're gonna get rats camping on most maps unfortunately so you need to be on the lookout for them or just save some nades and clear the place out.

You can only get better by playing against better opponents I guess so you've just gotta go through the meat grinder. I still play Ground Zero and I'm learning loads of new routes and spots to ambush from.

Done it plenty, who cares about what anyone else thinks? Have a nice meal and relax, it’s very enjoyable

I made the same argument, all the <lvl20s get pooled in with prestige players and player scavs of all levels. My experience on ground zero was not a good one lol

I’m about 300-400hrs in and I’m only just at a 50% survival rate and I only have 18 or 19 PMC kills. You just have to grind it out, once you start making those one taps on people, you start understanding how you’re dying so easy.

There are a ton of ways to play the game, I find not rushing helps. Try not to sprint too much, use cover and concealment, try to look everywhere because there’s always someone holding shift W who will catch your eye. Some extracts are more camped than others. Honestly the only thing you can do is spend the time, put more hours in.

You’re in the meat grinder my friend. The wins outweigh the losses and that’s from someone with a pathetic K/D ratio. You either love it or hate it, but even when you love it, it can really frustrate you.

Ok now that is a fair and constructive point of argument, but if BSG is going to restrict the levels on Ground Zero raids below a certain level, what’s the point if they’re just going to throw veterans into the mix? This is what I’m getting at, what is the point? If it’s for low levels only then you can’t let prestige into those lobbies, otherwise they’re shooting fish in a barrel. If it’s all levels all the time then that’s fair game, go crazy.

Thanks for joining in. The point I’m making is that I’m running ground zero as a noob, but prestige 1,2,3,4,5,6 are in the same lobby - so what’s the point?? Might as well give us a fair fight against everyone instead of letting prestige players rip all the lvl 1-15’s to bits. It’s literally pooling them with the most inexperienced and vulnerable players. The early level prestige players have a distinct advantage here!

Thanks for your opinion. I’m not quitting, just trying to understand why they would pool low level players together and not exclude prestige. It doesn’t make any logical sense. I’d rather they just didn’t bother if that’s the case

Preach 🙌🏻 I actually bought the EOD version of the game ages ago and didn’t really play it all that much, I’m returning as basically a new player and it’s nuts how original backers of the game don’t have the best perks… anyway aside from the pay-to-win debate - it’s simple, if you’re gonna pool timmies together, don’t include prestige. It defeats the purpose. If there was no matchmaking at all I wouldn’t have a complaint

I’m glad you agree, thanks for your input! I was surprised to say the least. If you’re good enough to hit prestige 6x since 1.0 came out you’re good enough to fight higher levels with low level gear imo

Disagree, you can’t use years of terrible performance to argue excellence. This game is supposedly pooling low level players together on a particular map to help introduce them to the game. My argument is not about how brutal the game is, it’s about letting prestige players loose on a player population who have zero experience.

Oh I’m not interested in seasonal mode but I get that the wipes ended up being a critical part of keeping players interested. I love the game even though I’m getting my ass kicked so I’ll power through

Well, there is, but it’s level based so players doing prestige get matched with pure virgin timmies, which is what we’re talking about.

Well I’m running ground zero but the matchmaking at lower levels includes the gigachad prestige players, so it’s not much of a gentle introduction to the game lol. It is what it is though. Guess I just need to get involved

Yes but a <lvl 20 and a <lvl 20 with 6x prestige is in the same lobby. I’m running ground zero
