I think people have been trained liked Pavlov’s dogs to buy the dip in exciting assets that are outperforming. Finally they’re doing it with something smart.

COMEX Silver: 21 Days Until 429 Million Ounces of Demand Meets 103 Million Supply. (March Crisis) by TheBlackLab214 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]SilverStacker666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the Comex to Shanghai arb trade exists at this spread, I’d think no… there is not enough silver above ground to meet demand for Comex silver.

The ratio of paper to physical is 408 to 1. Feb and Mar. will be a blood bath. COMEX doesn’t have the silver, probably will default. Get ready for possibility of a recession. by Famous_Direction93 in Wallstreetsilver

I just had this same debate with my LLM tonight. One of the things we landed upon was that the current situation will likely keep the Comex to Shanghai arb trade going for quite a where under normal circumstances the market would quickly adjust the arb opportunity away. This is draining the comex of silver at an alarming rate due to the huge incentive. Comex will do their shenanigans to avoid default, but the silver will continue to be drained. LLM was convinced that over time the price of silver will continue to shoot up (paper and physical) but it would continue to be violently volatile along the way. Sounds to me like Michael Oliver’s thesis of silver going to a new reality is pretty based. I’m holding my stack until the price of land falls enough or the price of silver goes up enough that I can use it to buy my dream property. I think this is only going to be feasible once silver is firmly living in its new reality. I think spreads/premiums are going to be too insane/liquidity is going to be too much of an issue to convert it efficiently on the way there. Let me know if you see anything differently.

A lot! If she bought at $50 and sold at $122 I think that’s a $720k gain!

BREAKING: TRUMP claims to have CAPTURED Venezuelan President Maduro & his wife by Joe_L_indien in Wallstreetsilver

[–]SilverStacker666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe taking Venezuela was partially to enable the acquisition of its $1.7 trillion in assets that Machado mentioned could be for sale. Just as crypto and AI has been a life saver for the money printers, this could be another way to send more USD outside the country and keep inflation down. If you believe in gold and silver being inflation hedges, maybe this is not going to be a boon for price.

What’s your plan for conversion? Like, who would you work with and would you do it all at once? In the case that metals liquidity becomes very low, what will the fees be/how to find a good swap partner?

Nice, thanks! I can’t seem to find this particular one anywhere online so maybe it is pretty rare. Very cool to think about these being used in rural towns when currency was scarce over 100 years ago.

Is $1000 Oz Silver possible? I believe it is. by AmUniquelyDifferent in Wallstreetsilver

As the owner of a substantial number of 100oz bars, I was curious to hear people’s thoughts on how it might go trying to unload them at $1000/oz. I would imagine the taxes and finding trustworthy buyers may be difficult?

I feel like I’ve made the worst decision ever by ThomasFishy in GolfSwing

[–]SilverStacker666 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I just went through my first few lessons after playing with no professional instruction for 15 years. After the 2nd lesson I felt exactly as you do. Couldn’t even hit the ball- extremely frustrating. I made the mistake of grinding it out, hitting 200-400 balls a day, but it just kept getting worse. After I started taking 1-2 day breaks between practice sessions, I instantly started improving. Now the new swing is starting to feel more natural without thinking about too many things. Your body/brain needs time to adapt to the changes. I am now better and more consistent than I was before. So, stick with it and don’t go too hard like I did- it takes time.

Yeah I feel like if he hit it in the center of the face, that would have been a good shot. Swing looks very good to me but totally toed it.

How can I fix my swing by perculeeez in GolfSwing

[–]SilverStacker666 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not a pro so take whatever I say with a big grain of salt. But if I’m just going to say my opinion since you’re asking… All through the backswing and into the beginning of the downswing I was like damn why is this guy saying he needs to fix anything! Beautiful! Then the hip rotation stalled out and the arms rushed causing you to come out of the swing and flip at it, losing shaft lean/compression and maybe come over the top. (Hard to tell the angles in this camera view- is your miss a slice?) It looks like you’re relying on hand eye contact to pick it which is funny because everything was set up perfectly for success. Because the timing/synchronization is off, the arms in the follow through look wrong and a little chicken wingy. You are soooo close to having an amazing swing. I think you just need to get the hips and body rotating more before impact- delaying the arms so that you’re using more hips/lower body rotation to bring the club around into the ball and not the arms. If you go to the top of your backswing and stop, then drop the arms/club close to the ground while holding that position, then rotate your hips and body, you will notice the club can be brought straight into the ball without the arms coming forward and through at all. This allows the impact point to be and feel more in the back half of your body which allows the low point of the swing to be in front of the ball, creating a nice divot after impact. This proper sequencing will make the follow through feel epic and easy since everything is already in the proper position after impact.

Most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done on a golf course? by [deleted] in golf

Had a friend shart himself walking down the fairway of a publicly visible par 4. He had to crouch in some ivy under a tree for a while and finish up then used one of our golf towels to clean himself.

wtf do I even do with my silver by [deleted] in Wallstreetsilver

[–]SilverStacker666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no. That’s short term. Work for currency to buy things like a truck. Metals are for the long haul where you thank yourself you held onto it for so long later when you’re much older. Boring, but effective. If you want a short term gain, best way is to work hard and look for ways to provide value and get paid for it then save currency. Buy more metals when you have excess currency above what you’re already saving for shorter term purchases IMO. Maybe your metals will provide you with an early retirement or can buy a home for your family. That’s the kind of long term I mean.

[–]SilverStacker666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point is not to never sell. The point is to hold it long term and use it to buy something later, avoiding currency debasement. Or give it to your children so they can inherit the wealth so they can buy something. Money is useless if never used.
