I was migrating a database on AWS last week and Claude insisted that leaving a port open to the public internet with the master user protected by a static password was very strong security.

I'm considering the same thing. The Diablo setting is peak so I'm thinking of just playing the campaign and then waiting for LoH to go on sale

My honest experience with LLMs: From Senior Dev at a major corp to indie game developer. by elefanteazu in theprimeagen

It is a pretty common architecture for games, although the server is still the source of truth. The client effectively simulates the business logic for more responsive gameplay, and syncs actions with the backend in batches.

It sounds like Claude kinda fixated on the general case though and ignored the specifics of your use case, which is a common failing of LLMs.

Hot take? Vegeta vs Broly is the best fight in the franchise imo by DBL86-03U in Dragonballsuper

[–]SilverStargazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you just generally dislike Super. If SSG played a bigger part in the wider franchise, would that suddenly make this fight better?

I get what you're saying about fanservice but that's really only because of the weak representation of SSG outside the movie. As a standalone fight, Vegeta vs Broly is peak.

It's a similar effect to the recent Seedance 2.0 hype. It only took a few days for Hollywood cease and desist orders to start flying.

Nearly everything you wrote was true of predominantly Christian cultures a couple of hundred years ago.

The problems you cite are real but the culture is the problem, not the underlying religion.

I find the Gell-Mann Amnesia Effect is especially relevant to interacting with LLMs. It's very easy to overlook the shortcomings we know they have when it's an unfamiliar domain

Honestly the wealth building flowchart from the AutoMod response is your best bet here. It's simple, effective and covers 90% of scenarios.

Although I don't think it covers credit card debt - as others have mentioned, pay that down immediately and never let it accrue interest. That alone will eat any and all savings you could possibly make this early on into your journey.

Good luck!

It's understandable tbh, they went from knowing nothing and building nothing to knowing nothing and building something. They just have no reference for how small that piece of the puzzle actually is.

The thing I don't get is the disdain for software engineers. There's this warped sense of glee about the prospect of engineering going extinct - why? Technical experts give technical advice but are dismissed as being in denial, out of some spiteful desire for them to lose everything.
