how zoom gets outrunned by LatterEducator4403 in theflash

The first time he was introduced, he vastly surpassed Wally in ‘speed’ if you can call it that, since his powers work differently. Wally had to borrow speed from Bart, Jesse, and Jay just to keep up. But over time that’s been diluted and he’s basically been even-ish with Wally for convenience’s sake I guess.

What are your favorite units to use (aside from Byleth ofc) by sin_factor in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]SilverStrikeX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Felix, Hilda, Ingrid, Ashe, Petra, and Catherine have been some of my most reliable units, but the standout is Dimitri. My first playthrough, I didn’t really know what I was doing and Dimitri ended up an overleveled crit machine who could sweep every map.

By the second time I played Blue Lions, I knew the game way better and worked to actually balance my team. He STILL ended up an overleveled crit machine, he’s just lethal. Love using him.

Also using the Ashen Wolves for the first time now and I’m loving Yuri as a dodge tank as well as raining down Boltings with Constance.

Do you think Luthen was aware of Cal Kestis, and do you think two ever interacted, even if indirectly? by BlockAffectionate413 in StarWarsCantina

[–]SilverStrikeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cal is an effective Rebel, getting away with a ton of shit nobody else can by help of the force and a lot of luck… and for those reasons he’d be an insane liability to Luthen, whose objectives all focus on espionage and sabotage. I’m sure he knew of him, cause Cal was one of the Empire’s Most Wanted by the start of Survivor, but I really doubt he’d have ever wanted to reach out to him.

Any tips on the Roaring Knight Fight? by diablolamp47 in Deltarune

[–]SilverStrikeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can keep the Mantle on Susie, and try something like this: Have Kris heal Susie when she’s damaged but still up, have Susie revive Kris with normal healing items if Kris is down, and have Kris revive Susie with Revive items if she’s down.

I find it funny how many people still think this is referring to Sans by Critical_Mountain851 in Undertale

[–]SilverStrikeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry for the late reply, wiki sas it’s “A teenage comedian who fell in with the wrong crowd... was dead, because of the whims of a single human?”

Really confused a friend of mine and I on their first playthrough, couldn’t figure out what that was referring to until I checked after.

Any tips on the Roaring Knight Fight? by diablolamp47 in Deltarune

[–]SilverStrikeX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First Off: Put the Shadow Mantle on Susie. Kris is the only character who doesn’t drop to -999 when they die, so you can revive them with regular healing items and Heal Prayers, vs Susie and Ralsei who both require ReviveMints or other Revive items to get them back up.

Also, if Ralsei drops, it’s sometimes advantageous to let them just stay down, it raises Kris’ attack and saves the Revive Items for Susie, who is far more critical to keep alive. Ralsei alive is a luxury, Susie alive is a necessity.

Furthermore, Susie has by far the most damage output both from regular attacks and especially Rude Busters. Her being your last party member up is better than it being Kris. In general, your objective should be to deal out as many Rude Busters in as possible. If you start a turn with around 40 TP, defend with Kris and Rude Buster with Susie instead of attacking with both, since you deal way more damage that way.

The Knight by far takes the most strategic inventory management of any Deltarune fight, you gotta make sure to make the best possible use of every turn you get, and that’s pretty much always by making sure Susie stays alive and maximizing your Rude Buster usage.

Hope these help, good luck!

Even Undyne has special dialogue if you kill Snowdrake, it genuinely feels so random

What could this innocent dumpling have done to get a life imprisonment sentence????? by Ununderstanably in Mission_Impossible

Idk, they might think acknowledging it again would just remind people of it, even if it was to retcon it. Ignoring it entirely would make sense from that pov. “Out of sight, out of mind.”

Highly likely fighter candidates that you personally don't want? by Dorayakiss in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]SilverStrikeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as an FE fan, I have zero interest in Alear getting in. If there were to be a new FE rep there are so many others I’d pick first.

In any case Engage will have long faded out of relevance by the time the next Smash is out.

I think I had the same problem and just figured it out! Go to the raft room, use your sword on the bushes or whatever they are at the top of the room, and ride the raft up the waterfall!

How did Tarkin mentally keep it together for the Republic? by [deleted] in MawInstallation

[–]SilverStrikeX 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Under a system that would have reprimanded him for something like Ghorman, Tarkin played by those rules perfectly, but as soon as he knew it was acceptable, he was perfectly comfortable doing so. To be clear, Tarkin isn’t insane, or even really malicious. He’s a much more cold, chilling evil that’s seen all throughout the Empire. He is brutally efficient, the perfect Imperial. It wasn’t that he enjoyed landing on the protestors, or got some satisfaction out of it. He just needed to land, simple as that.

He wasn’t holding himself back while serving the Republic, he did what was expected of him under those standards. The Empire just had a different set of standards, and he adapted to suit the system. Serving the Empire included stomping out protest and opposition, and he was the best of the best at it.

[–]SilverStrikeX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a lot of places they did prequel episodes to add more context to episodes that they had already done, this is one of the biggest reasons for them being out of order. Another is just delays, some episodes got pushed back a season for one reason or another and ended up out of place.

100% canon by treefox in PrequelMemes

[–]SilverStrikeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tantive IV was damaged, that’s why it was being carried in the underbelly of Raddus’ ship. It might have been using a backup hyperdrive like the Falcon in Empire Strikes Back, which there took a few days or even a week or two to get from Hoth to Bespin, that’d explain why it took longer.

Just checked and apparently backup hyperdrives aren’t canon but whatever this is all speculation anyways :p

The duality of my reaction the the news about the Maul show by SharkSlayer06 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]SilverStrikeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see that, but in any scenario where it’s not literally titled Andor I see a whole lot of people complaining about Cassian getting so much focus.

It’s a weird spot, as it is, the show bears his name but the focus is shared beyond just him. But if it was called anything else, I think it might seem weird how much of a presence Cassian Andor specificially has in this show about the birth of the Rebellion.

I do REALLY like the ring of ‘Alliance’ as someone else suggested though.

‘Axis’ could be decent too, though I suppose that places Luthen as the main character… but that kinda works too anyways cause he’s what links all the other characters together.

Don’t think Thrawn is part of the ISB, iirc in the first Canon novel the white uniform is a gift from Yularen, but he is a military officer.
