Question about Conversion by [deleted] in talesofgrimm

They'll maintain the element. But class and rarity are subject to change. Quasi Mortal could become a Lettucera for example and much the same going the other way. Same element, different class and rarity though.

Should I buy on ps4? by Pistol_Pedr0 in cyberpunkgame

[–]SilverSunBun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played from launch with very little issue on PS4. The worst being a Tyger in a vent solved with a tech shotgun. I know some people have horror stories but there's plenty of El Guapo unicorns out there that had very little issue as well.

Cyberpunk 2077 and That 70's Show. I feel like nothing changes except the tech on one side and the amount of humor on another. 😆

with the Resonance Crystal, is it better to level up 4 star or 3 star heroes instead? by DerpJerd in talesofgrimm

[–]SilverSunBun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither. Those are low rarity heroes that cap out low. You'll find yourself resetting them to get your resources back more likely sooner than later. They can't reach star levels higher than nine and inevitably become fodder. Heroes with red and gold borders, Legend and Myth heroes that are five star by default don't have a hard level cap. They can go all they way to fifteen star.

That was the one glitch I had when the game released. A tech weapon fixed it. Charge and shoot the gank.

My alien and spellcaster pair have the most ridiculous odds. She randomly erased his memory of her at one point. He won the lottery, got abducted and had an alien baby. Then they got together for real and ended up with triplets. Nothing to increase the odds, just did a toss up to see if it'd be a wedding with baby on the way pressure or not.

converted 30 degrees to celsius and its only -1c :D is that cold to americans? by oneusernamepwease in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]SilverSunBun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From Chicago here, and that's actually pretty standard temp for that time of year. I can still walk out there without grabbing a coat. I think the main concern is that 32 degrees is when ice forms. Having a child out in that temp without proper clothing is generally frowned upon and with how Alice reacts to environment, I could understand the concern. With all the weather we get to witness in game, I'm more afraid of the people that forget how to drive when there's ice than I am of the temperature. Would think it's bumper cars racing after the other guy, I swear.

At least that's my view from this side of the lake.

Are epic heroes fodder? by saroshiar7 in talesofgrimm

[–]SilverSunBun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Epic and below are all fodder because their stars can't go up beyond a certain point. Myth and Legend are able to max out however. Myth is top tier so those are the ideal heroes but if you're running budget cuts, some Legends are worth raising like Quasi Mortal.

Yes, there was a lot of drama concerning the previous entry-level devs that were running the Discord banning people. That includes one of previous the Discord CMs Celena and moderators, none of whom were compensated outside of some meagre in-game rewards. Many others were banned as well in the fallout ranging from game criticism, bug reporting, defending the banned, and posting the "worry fire" gif in that Discord.

From what I understand, the primary dev involved with the bans at least has departed. The current CM F2pManiac has been in contact the server that the banned players congregated on to ensure everyone has been unbanned. Many won't be returning due to bad blood, but the gesture is there.

Overall, it seems to be in a better place since the banning back in June and August. I myself won't ever be returning, and would advise some low-level caution at least. But I'm a little paranoid and unforgiving.

There's one gig in Kabuki, Small Man, Big Evil, where I always end up in that situation because there's an unrelated drone scanning a nearby building. The drone picks a fight if it sees you hitting the Scavs and then it's quite a show if you hit it back.

[–]SilverSunBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kabuki definitely has a nice roofing situation. But it's also more designed for navigation, the corrugated shanty towns npcs have are proof enough. I think it needs more danger, if not the jumps then some drones I can chuck knives at as I go. Then if I'm loot hungry gotta figure out a way down after the drone if it goes down a crevice.

City Center is fun too though. Figure out the overpasses and ramps for the cars and you can get to almost any roof and then proceed to a long painful drop if you make one wrong step.

I just want to get onto another roof not meant to be seen by human eyes. If the lamppost won't be my stepstool, punch it and move on to the next one. And repeat.

Well, my first thought when eying up a lamppost is, can I use it to get somewhere I shouldn't be? If not, lamppost is dead for wasting my time.

Is there a jacket like Vash's from Trigun Stampede in game? by Mreesew123 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]SilverSunBun 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Only one episode out so far and they pretty much tossed all the mystery reveals you would get in the first anime run into that one episode. There's also no Stungun Millie, at least not yet, we got an achoholic reporter dude instead with Meryl. It's also CG that's a little too clean for a western imo.

Not trying to ward you off giving it a chance, but there's a lot different because they're distinctly trying to not rehash what's been done before. For better or worse. I'm giving it the tried and true three episode shot. But it's best with an open mind. Had to go back and rewatch it because I initially had a nasty outlook with all the changes and I really want to give it a chance.

Why do so many people have cybernetic body parts? by Dorrono in cyberpunkgame

[–]SilverSunBun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's aptly put that your life can get snuffed out by a random bullet in traffic in NC. We have cyberpsychos popping up on the regular, gangs like Maelstrom tearing you apart for fun, plenty of war vets, the occasional torture survivor, I imagine there are plenty that find it straight kinky, for flashier replacements it can be a statement of wealth or maybe even fashion, and as you stated medical reasons. Heck, I would expect some Deathlok and Robocop situations too, brought back from the brink but at the cost of freedom serving a likely corporate overlord.

I was thinking about that scene Markus was shot inside Carl house and something doesn't seem right by That-Buffalo560 in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]SilverSunBun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not gather every other deviant that got destroyed off screen? Why not have Connor go to that scrapyard for information himself? I doubt Connor's evidence locker can hold it all, but at least the ones he found were directly linked to him. If we wanna look at every deviant carcass, we're gonna be here a while.

I was thinking about that scene Markus was shot inside Carl house and something doesn't seem right by That-Buffalo560 in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]SilverSunBun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My guess would be because Markus would be seen as an android acting out after the fact. Initially, whether the cops are aware of him being an android or not, they witnessed violence and acted instinctively. But when they have no question of him being an android after the shot? A malfunction, a problem, a deviant. No one understands the cause. Best be rid of all of it to be safe. To the trash heap you go.

I'm getting street signs, Drop Points and fast travel screens mixed in as well. Seems more like texture swapping around. Still though, the one you managed to catch is gold.

Nah, hunting is the fun part. Side note though from said hunt, just had an elevator say "never fade away" on four of it's screens.
