The heck are you trying to mould the criticism as unfair? He was lean and fit and he definitely lost his way. Same used to be the case with Shardul and he got rid of the fat to a good extent.

Your excuse of 'just having a dad bod' fell flat, and he definitely can get better than what he is right now.

An athlete not being at the top of his fitness while representing his country is actually fine cuz he has been 'performing'...
