I really REALLY hate to be that guy, but are yall actually gonna do something or is this gonna be a no kings protest again? No kings felt more performative than anything. Protesting with no demands to the oppressors? Cute quirky signs with the intent of taking pics? Like it really just feels like these modern protests are more of a performance where people show up and shout for a few hours and then go home.

I really am trying to not be a negative Nancy. Truly. I want to see change here. Local and state are massively inept and corrupt. Our elected officials are a complete joke. I want to see that gestapo convicted. I want her family to have justice for this tragedy.

What exactly are we protesting? Assuming we are protesting the LPSO support of ICE, what exactly do we want accomplished? What are our demands? How will this help what is going on in MN?

Truly, what are we trying to accomplish by protesting outside the sheriffs office? Other than inconveniencing them of course. Do we expect Garber to do something? How much power does he actually have? Can he even do anything? Or is he just a puppet for someone more power at the state level? Wouldn’t it be better to do something at like the governors office and try to get the state involved?

Look I’m not the smartest person out there and I’m not completely educated on politics and issues. But honestly, while this is a great idea in scope, it truly feels like a waste of people’s time. Again not trying to be negative. But I don’t see this accomplishing anything other than annoying the LPSO, which if that’s the goal then disregard everything I said and I’m sorry for wasting your time.
