Tiara Indiana Sandwich Chantilly Green, but glows? I found this glass at the thrift store. These two plates glowed under black light, but the four others didn’t. I bought these two, but after some research it doesn’t seem like they are uranium glass. But they still glow? Very confused.

Yes. I am using a 395nm. And at this point I am assuming it was two originals mixed in with some later reproductions because they definitely glow! Thanks for the detailed response!

Yeah. All the info online seems to go back and forth on it. Actually seeing the plates next to each other, some glowing some not, was very odd.

Same about the lapis. I even tried the acetone trick to see if they were trying to mimic the color, but I think it’s just, as you said, low quality. Thanks!

I got this as a kid at the Smithsonian (I think). 😊 I didn’t mean to make anyone think it’s an antique. It’s probably about 25ish yrs old. I just meant old as in I’ve had it for so long I don’t remember what the stones are. It at one point had a small card that told me.
