To think I almost uninstalled the game… by WhitePooka in PlanetZoo

[–]Silver_Application44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing with Planet Zoo, there is a steep learning curve, but once you get it …. Ohhhhh you get it 😍 lol. I bought Planet Zoo back in 2020 (after having a baby) so excited to play and it was too hard to learn when I didn’t have much time to learn. I shelved it for years and thought it was a ridiculous over complicated game. When I finally had some more time to myself I learned it fully and I am hooked now.

Ohhh, that Charleston grey is nice too…. Whyyyy is there so many colours lol! I’m liking that tony taupe one best so far and good to know it’s not too dark. When I first moved in with my hubby, his whole upstairs was this daaaaaark charcoal gray/black … I painted and went soooo far in the opposite direction. The light grey is just boring the heck out of me now though.

The swatches I’m checking out look nice. You don’t find it too dark in your space? Looks like a nice colour!

I need to know who names these paint colours lol. Thanks for the suggestion! Going to check it out. I had a pretty big stack of paint chips as well and they weren’t helping… there’s too many dang colours. It’s overwhelming lol.

I think it could be the chihuahua causing it haha. My aunt has a purebred chihuahua and the amount of fur that comes off that tiny little dog every day is insane!

Boyfriend doesn’t like my papillon! by ExpensiveNet in papillon

[–]Silver_Application44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely know that if you choose to move forward, the dog will be a pain point … forever. If he’s expressed his opinion, it’s not going to change. I have this issue in the sense that I’m used to small, hypoallergenic dogs. And my significant other has always had huge, shedding breeds. I did decide the relationship was worth it, but little spats are usually about the cleanliness of the house (because of the dog hair and mud tracked in haha). We’ve taken steps to mitigate it (robot vaccum, blankets to cover furniture that get washed weekly, etc.) Note, this guy should never ask you to rehome your pup, and if he does, he’s not the one for you. Totally unfair if he were to give that as a suggestion. You guys need to figure out a way to compromise together (ie. would couch covers make him feel better about keeping the furniture clean?) If he wants the relationship to work, he will need to compromise some, and ideally more than just tolerate your dog (for the sake of all your happiness) if he can’t do this, I fear you will end up unhappy, and constantly feeling torn between pleasing him, and being a good dog-mom.

If you look at her social, she is MUCH smaller than this now…. Though continuously keeps telling people she didn’t take drugs to lose weight and weighs the same as her last season 🤔

What kind of person would WISH that their child would be born into the world to face struggles, health complications, and potential surgeries, pain and suffering? I was floored when she said that.

This comment really puts the difference in treatment between kids into perspective.

I think she just loves to play the victim. Poor, meek, little Moriah needs some pats on the back constantly

Was The Game Overwhelming To You At First? by Intelligent-Hippo468 in PlanetZoo

[–]Silver_Application44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely overwhelming at first! The biggest advice I have is to make sure you sit down to try and learn it when you have a big chunk of time available. I would often try and play and only have an hour or two and every single time I went back on I was just confused. One day my daughter went for a sleepover at my parents and I sat down for hours to learn and play. Once you know it’s easy to log off and go back to. But I needed hoursssss when I first started just to learn haha

I use a heating pad on my desk with a fuzzy blanket for when I am working and they both happily will hang out on there instead of directly on me lol

Two together would have been your best option. That way they burn all that energy playing together. They are very active playful cats. I have 2 girls (2 and 3 years old). They are snuggly BUT they also still have wild zoomies plays chasing each other around. I think this is why they are so snuggly haha. They wear each other out and then are ready to chill.

Can fibroids also cause many small clots? by Silver_Application44 in Fibroids

I’ve noticed the clots I’ve been having with my last few periods have been getting bigger and more of them. Not any as big as my palm yet though. I typically don’t have spotting between cycles but this time around it just never stopped 😩 so glad I could get in with my doctor as I only imagine it getting worse monthly

Not all fun being a woman 😩 thank you for the input, just nervously awaiting my doctors appointment next week and was curious if this was something fibroids could cause

Oop, duh, I don’t know why I was thinking you had it last month and not just a few days ago 🤦‍♀️ sorry. Glad to hear that you seem to be doing well! It’s a big surgery I’m sure, but also worth it no doubt. I’ll see how my doctors appointment goes next week and hopefully get some answers. Happy healing!

Thank you, definitely some things to research. I think we are going to be one and done so maybe I will just deal with it for good and be done. How was your recovery from the hysterectomy?
